Problems are a daily occurrence. At the last newspaper I worked at, they used Macs. There was only 1 tech employed there. At the newspaper I work at now, there are 4 techs... and they are busy every day.

I will never own a computer that runs Windows (accept, of course, a Mac using Parallels).

The only thing I dislike is the whole Mac vs PC fights since Mac = PC. Everyone knows that PC stands for Personal Computer and yet everyone keeps tying word PC for Windows just cause 8/10 people will have Windows for their OS. I could understand Apple vs some other brand of computers mind you. Computer is a computer and the choice of OS is left strictly to the user... that's the way I see it at least. You can install OS X on AlienWare computer just as easily as you can run Windows on MacBook Pro

@ethanflys Most companies have to put money into PR. Apple use alot of money, but it makes them alot of money. Windows knew that Vista was bad, they knew it. Why else did they completely change to Windows 7 and basically start from scratch. They changed everything from XP to vista which also goes some way to explain why it was so bad compared to XP. To be honest, the best thing windows ever did was fail at vista. it created real ambition to create something good again.. And they managed it. :)

Thunderbolt ports.. not even in PCs yet. DDR3 RAM isn't old.. and is used within PCs too.. I could have a SSD (chose not to as i dont see the point, i'd rather use more power and have more disk space) a laptop with 8GB RAM is pretty impressive and even the windows ones online cost over £1099, some up to £1700

Whats funny is Vista has a larger market share than all Apple OSes combined. And vista was considered to be a FAILURE.

So, we can conclude that Failures>Mac. Therefore, being a Mac user is worse than being a failure. But what does that mean?

Unfortunately your example doesnt quite apply here.

1. The only purpose of creating the Mac OS is to make money, the same objective of Vista. By making more money, Vista is comparatively better than Mac OS.

2. NFL quarterbacks are not software. Each QB must be specially trained and talented, one at a time. If you want another, you have to go train another. You cant just clone him.

You can clone software infinitely. However, Mac OS isnt cloned infinitely because it isnt great.

What does that mean?

Imagine you see a guy with a car and you see a hipster with a trike. Most people would rather be the guy with the car because even though you could get hurt due to user error you could do MUCH more with it than you could ever do with a mac. Plus you could install Osx onto any Pc with an intel cpu.

personally i use both a mac and a pc, both have their advantages and disadvantages but i think the advantages of my mac overweighs my pc considering that i can actually run mac os, ubuntu and windows at the same time
