there is no solution. Too much or not enough state power lead to tyranny; in the first scenario it's authoritarian or totalitarian state power, in the second case it's private, unaccountable oligarchies and corporate fascists. If you make corporations into people and give them endless freedom you can bet they'll not play by any moral rules or laws because they're meant to make a profit and it's easier to make money by ignoring the rules of fairness and justice.
But what happens when the public goods are something people need but cannot pay for? Wants and needs only become demand when couples with buying power.
@fileboy2002 Any examples? I did a rough calculation for my city and the cost of the police force devided by the people is only 300 a year. When you realize that about 50% of everyones income is stolen by taxes and on top of that all prices are inflated by taxes including rent and gas, you should see how society as a whole as well as virtually every person will be much better off. For the rest there will be more then enough charity and new jobs created by everyone else's wealth.
@Hashishin13 You really can't think of any examples? Okay. People need health care, but most cannot hope to pay for their health care needs out of pocket. Children need to be educated, but most parents cannot afford private schools. I don't drive, but society still needs roads, so I pay taxes to help maintain them. Not everyone eats meat, but we still pay taxes for meat inspection so people don't get poisoned. The list goes on and on.
@Hashishin13 You are not stating facts here, you are just spewing ideology. You've bought into a hard-line libertarian narrative about how the world works, and are mistaking it for reality.
@fileboy2002 Well thats probably the most pathetic cop out of an arguement I have ever read. Just say "no" next time instead of stroking your ego while engaging in ad hominem fallacies.
How about actually addressing my arguements? Like the FACT that HALF of everyones income is STOLEN by government EVERY YEAR.
@thatsavageaaron there is nothing inherent in the belief of anarchism that precludes religon... religious hierarchies however are not acceptable....if anything anarchism is the champion of secularism, i don't care who or what you worship so long as you do not try to impose you're religious dictates to me or for that matter anyone else... not only is anarchism the refusal of the state but of all authority which would restrict your freedoms...therefore in some contexts religon is ....bad
@thatsavageaaron Lots don't, some do. Anarcho-capitalism and libertarianism are strictly political beliefs which exclude religion from politics, a lot like the constitution in that way.
This guy isnt a freaking anarchist...Libertarians try to say they are anarchists but anarchism already has a long history and a coherent belief system. Just because this guy calls himself an anarchist doesn't mean he is
@CarlJohnDavison Just because you say he isn't doesn't mean he isn't either. See how that works? Words can have more then one meaning, I'm amazed at how you socialist anarchists think otherwise. Anarchy literally means a lack of rulers, we anarcho-capitalists/voluntarists take this to mean no unchosen rulers.
Fuck that, some kind of capitalist free-market shit disguised as anarchism. Couldn't finish it because it became a long string of multi-syllable gibberish and it's too late in the night for that. Christ.

Missesians simply criticize one aspect of the system but never view or attack the system itself. It's free market doctrines are reformist but impractical as getting rid of the state requires the collapse of the whole system of civilization.
@Hostile No other way around destroying civilization would get rid off the state and many other problems with society such as patriarchy and capitalism. You can't have capitalism and division of labor with ought the state.
@Eldel15 Well of-course you can, capitalism is just the recognition of property rights, which can be enforced by private agencies instead of the state. Why would we stop being able to operating like a normal society without the government? All it does is slow our natural capitalistic instincts down. Without a state we'd all be able to trade and prosper far more effectively.

@fileboy2002 "but most cannot hope to pay for their health care needs out of pocket"
Largely due to the government stealing about half their income while taxing and regulating the medical industry.
"Children need to be educated, but most parents cannot afford private schools."
Same thing
"society still needs roads"
Same thing.
"we still pay taxes for meat inspection so people don't get poisoned"
We pay taxes because if we don't we get kidnapped and thrown in a cell, speak for yourself.
