ah memories of 06 with my wife & kids (16 & 13) our last night was songkran which was the most surreal & fun night ever,mario nearly blowing up the bar soaking the dodgy electrics with Yo going mad, wish i was there now.best holiday ever

Chaweng is great for nightlife. Wednesday night at the Ark, Green Mango is good for dancing, the Solo goes all night, Sound Club has a pool, the Q Bar has a great view and, and there is a half moon and black moon party next to the lake across from the infamous Reggae Bar. If you want some peace you just walk south to Chaweng Noi

Chaweng is cool you have the beach bars for a quiet night or green mango if you want a mad one. Everyone moans about being busy but that what i like about it so may weird people ..ps Ark bar wednesday night beach party! cant beat it :0)

if you go to koh samui, don't go to chaweng there are better place especially meanam beach or bophut beach or maybe lamai beach!!!!
