To join a lodge, as they say, 2B1Ask1. (to be one ask one) It ain't the boy scouts, but as long as you meet the minimum requirements of being 18 or 21 depending on the state or jurisdiction, and have a belief in a Supreme Being, you can ask a mason if you know one or a lodge if you don't for a petition.
I found Free Masonry something very interesting... But its to bad you can never get the real facts about it... I really really want to know whats its all about... but i guess you have to be rich as hell to...
you need three references but not a sponsor really, prince hall lodges are for blacks but lodges should be mixed these days though you still have lodges in the south that resist change
Yep. Mason are everywhere and have been for a long, long time. Its not a black/white thing, but just that humans want to feel special and belong to exclusive clubs and feel like they are making a difference. Benign.
They do alot of charity, and to the best of my knowledge don't preach the hatred, bigotry and separatism found in most religion (but then they arn't a religion...sorta).
Give them a try. If you don't like what you see, then post about it on youtube. Should be fascinating.
It doesn't work that way, you can't just join( it's not the boy scouts) you have to be proposed by two or more masons in order to even be recommended.

You should obtain a membership. If they don't accept black people don't worry about it, there is a Masonic Lodge for black people as well. XD
