  • Using raw sugar in place of the white stuff gives the rice pudding a very nice flavor. Thanks for the recipe. Gonna make some today as a matter of fact. Also, Ms. ilovetocookalot, you are HOT HOT HOT!! Try not to eat too much rice pudding..don't want to mess up that lovely figure...

  • wat does the egg do? i saw som other videos and they didnt add the egg.

  • I am a 43 yr old father of 6 and I just made this and it turned out very well! thanks!

  • Minus the butter and this would be a high protein, healthy meal!

  • Hot MILF right there

  • you have to heat milk GENTLY dear it affects the flavour

  • "dear" lol.

  • cool

  • Meh...I prefer Kozy Shack...Lol...With raisins and cinnamon that is...

  • kozy shack is the bomb *__*

  • thats a lot of sugar

  • Hi Maria! I'm Italian. Can you please tell me the recipe of "Rice Pudding"?? And can you too tell me how grams is a cup?? because here in italy we don't use the cups as a reference.

    Thank you very much

    You are really good =)

  • i made this last week and it was so good! the best rice pudding ive made so far. my hubby loved and said it was even better than kozy shack....lol! thx

  • 3/4 cup of rice to 2 cups of milk seems like an awful lot of rice! I tried a similar recipe, and it was too "ricey." I'm not sure if using the medium grain makes a difference, as I used long grain. When I used this similar recipe, most of it ended up wasted. The flavor was good, but the texture was off. I would reduce the rice to 1/2 cup of raw per 3 cups milk at most if using long-grain.

  • I see that people rated my comment at a -2. I have come to the conclusion that some people do not know how the texture of rice pudding is supposed to be. 3/4 cup of rice is simply too much.

  • Yummm..I have to try this. Thanks for the awesome videos. =)

  • Super recipe Maria! I can't wait to try this one. -A

  • Hi! Thanks for the recipe! I was looking for it for hours!

Anyway, think it'll help if you list down the ingredients on the right column for "slower" viewers like me who have to repeat the video to get the recipe..

hee..I'm sure to follow all of ur vids after this one! Cook on!^_^

  • love rice and tapioca pudding, love your video's i've made most of them

  • 5***** :)

  • When You say super fine sugar, do you mean fine granulated. Thanks for your videos. I love them.

  • yes, that is exactly it - you can even take regular granulated white sugar and just grind it

in a food processor for 20 secs - it just

dissolves better ... (also, regular granulated sugar will work too)

  • This is one of my very favorite sweets, in all the world! I'm stoked you shared a recipe for this, Maria.

As an aside, have you lost ten pounds in the last few months? You're looking pretty fit. Not like someone who eats rice pudding all day.

  • I noticed you put the egg into the hot rice mixture. Should we be concerned with the eggs turning into scramble?

  • Not if you stir it constantly, there is enough hot liquid mass to cook the egg quickly without

    scrambling same

  • You look thinner :)

  • I love rice pudding! I barely ever get to eat it though. I'll have to make it soon!
