@whitehound11 Your character doesn't talk in Origins, except for when they are in battle or opening chests etc, they say a few things then but not when talking to other people... unlike Dragon Age II, when you choose what you say to someone Hawke actually talks this time.
@MCfleghm Those knights are Ser Perth and his men. If he survives the battle at Redcliffe, he'll be at the gate of Redcliffe castle when you fight in the courtyard. Click on the lever to open the gate and have him help you with the fight. He'll accompany you inside once you're done.
