Give me Behan, who at least, for right or wrong, put his money where his mouth was, and was aware of the contradictions and hypocrisy of literary expressions of nationalism and 'the nation'. Boland represents nobody but the elite, and has done nothing for the oppressed it wasn't in her own interest to do.
