  • 0:58 to 1:03 my favourite part of this whole movie.

  • Damn his son is his happy thought... when he's about to fall and stops inches from the ground, thats when shit gets crunk!!

  • I love how the little Ginger kid with the curls screams PAN!! and then rings the bell...

    #StealHooksHookThenCrowLikePAN!

  • This scene is a metaphor for coming up on ecstasy

  • @DeePhlat

You missed a GREAT opportunity to keep your mouth shut!

  • Oh what I'd give to fly!

  • When I was younger, I loved this scene and yet I also hated it because it meant the movie was getting closer to the end!

  • I could not picture another actor but Robin WIlliams playing Peter Pan in Hook.

  • Peter said this when he was flying. i can not belive i give this up for love

  • @CPTTAYLOR592 i agree. i wouldn't give up flying for love

  • @Psychology I know right

  • I never really understood why the movie was called Hook, it should have been called Return of the Pan or Return to Neverland.

  • This is the uber Peter Pan movie

  • "pan. PAAAAAAAAN."

  • Such a great scene.

  • Where did all of Robin Williams' armhair go lol

  • @Theriot6592 He might have shaved them or they just appear yet.

  • Movie is epic, always gives me goosebumps during this scene!

  • Damn...Spielberg is just the man.

  • I wonder what emotions Robin Williams felt when he seen that in the cinema for the first time.

  • If Christopher Reeves can make people believe a man can fly, Robin Williams is second to do that. Then again, Robin Williams and Christopher Reeves were friends.

  • This scene is so epic its untrue!!! Pan the man! The true king of neverland IS BACK!!!!!

  • I love this scene :-) i always started cheering as he flew out of the top of the tree :-) greatest peter pan movie ever.....there should be a sequal

  • @UncleRand there cant be a sequel of a sequel anyway a movie like this should be left alone as a one off classic

  • I don't know about anyone else, but for some reason I always used to start laughing when Peter says "Daddy!" so happily and all you see is the teddy bear

  • Thanks!

Best part of the film indeed!

One day we'll all be able to fly like this!

    I can garenty this!

    Love,

    Gil :-)

  • the two douche bags that don't like this had a lousy childhood and can kiss my grown-up a**

  • I wish they'd make squeal with Robin Williams and his kids fly to kill pirates. Son of Hook is enemy.

  • whoa! air breaks lol

  • I really dont know why so many critics didnt like the movie? Its not your traditional peter pan story with a young peter pan but dont look at it some much at the old cartoon peter pan. The only thing i really could agree with the critics is the sword fighting cheography. It was obviously very simple that didnt have much creativity or rehearsal doing it.. Aslo, Julia Roberts performance wasnt her best. Other than that it was a good fun family movie. Dustin Hoffman was superb.

  • you can fly you can fight and you can....

  • at 0:54 you can see it in his eyes..."oh yeah fucking peter pan is BACK BITCH!!!!!!!!"

  • loved seeing this when i was 8

  • BANGARANG!!!

  • best kids film ever!!!!!!! BANGARANG

  • BANG-A-RANG!!!! :DDDDDDDDDDDDDd

  • my favourite adaptations the disney version den dis

  • my favorite peter pan film adaptation for sure.

  • after i saw this movie in the theatres i went home and tryed to fly. I ended up with a sprained wrist.

  • I LOVE this film and what it symbolizes. "To live... that is a great adventure." One can grow up and not forget your child roots. You don't have to grow into a cold hearted cynic (i.e. a pirate). You can age gracefully and not forget "Neverland" (i.e. your childhood). On the other hand, there are many positive things about growing up (e.g. being a father.). This movie is very deep in meaning, at least for me.

  • I know this comment is a month old but I agree whole heartedly. That's why I love this story even more than the original, it's about remembering our authentic selves and keeping part of Peter Pan in all of us even if we all must grow up to a certain degree.

  • god john williams is brilliant.

  • One of my favorite scenes from this movie. :)

  • but i always wonder how he changed his clothes so fast from normal to peter pan:P

  • hes peter pan, he believes...

  • hahaha, the magical world of peter pan..:P

  • It is Neverland, everything is possible ;)

  • such a amazing scene....gives me the chill!

  • i just love this part it gives me goose bumps! i love when peter starts flying and all the boys are looking up at him

  • I think John Williams makes great flying music. Look what it did for the Superman films.

  • the best story i never seen...

  • this scene gives me chills ^^ such a great movie

  • MORK AWAAAAAAAAaaaaaaaaaaaaayy...

  • The one thing that loved about this movie above all else: Rufioooooooo!!!1

  • HAPPPY THOUGHT !!!!!! I LV IT

  • grew up with this movie :D

  • Most inspirational and uplifting scene in movie history! There's only on reason why you may not like this film...You're braindead!

  • what a film why do critics hate it it was so good as a child and still is

  • Easily one of my favorite scenes in any film ever. Brings tears to my eyes everytime. Screw the critics - this movie is amazing. And John Williams... is the man. 'nuff said.

  • @LazyMofo69

Agreed. This is a great film. I saw it many times as a young child (was born in '89). When I was about 18 or so my sister picked up the DVD and I teased her a little about it (thinking it wouldn't hold up well with us being older now -- you know how you sometimes remember things as being better than they really were). How wrong I was! I enjoyed it every bit as much as before. Heck I need to rewatch it soon, it's been a few years. :(

    Screw the critics!!

  • just my favourite scene of all times... its the same feeling i got when I watched this as a child

    so great... :)

  • When I see this movie (I can see it many many times) I alway become a child, everytime I cry at this scene (this and the one where the little boy said: "Oh, there are you Peter!" One of the best movies! Not only the basic characters like Peter and Hook, the kids are great and Julia Roberts as Tinker too!

  • I love this scene, they got there hero, there leader back, The Pan.

  • underrated movie, one of the best spielberg movies

  • Bangerang!

  • tears of joy

  • "PETER PAAAAAAN!" :')

  • Amazing!!!!! XD

  • i love this seen i wish i could fly it be ace i used to dream of this when i was a kid haha

  • This scene always brings tears of joy to me. Thank you for posting this. I just wish you had lengthened it to where Pan crowed for Rufio.

  • amazin i used to watch it evry week end when i was a kid and i can recite it line for line lol sad but usefull lol

  • i got it i found it ha ha.....i lost it AGHHH lol

  • great movie

  • See him fly out of that tree house and up towards the sun for the first time almost made me cry it was so beautiful.

Hook, a lifelong favourite of mine. = )

  • 1:52

    RU-FEE-OWNED!!!

  • THE TREE HOUSE KAME AH ME AH? HAHA

  • THE TREE HOUSE

  • Freaking scene makes me wanna believe in fairies for a happy thought and fly!

Cheesy as may sound but this is one of my favorite movies.

  • This scene makes me want to jump kick everyone around me.

  • oh wait no this is the song that makes me like YEAAAH FLYYYYY

  • This is my favourite part of the film, always has been, always will be. Great effects for the time and an excellent score. John Williams rules :)

  • @G1ngerD4n Robin*

  • @unscenebitch no John Williams, the composer ;)

  • same here

  • This scene always makes me feel so courageous and excited I start laughing and jumping off of stuff, then punching random people!

  • makes me just wanna throw stuff

  • Makes me wanna wrestle a muppet and tell him that he's been very naughty

  • i like danny elfman better, but yeah, this was the best scene

  • You like him more than Williams?

  • john Williams is the best movie composer ever

  • This brings back so many childhood memories

  • this was hands down the best part of the movie.

  • I saw John Williams in concert and he performed this song with the orchestra...brought back so many memories.

  • why couldnt the lost boys fly?

  • Because I think Peter Pan produced fairy dust from his skin. Everyone else needed fairy dust and a happy thought to fly but Pan just needed the happy thought.

  • I still... and always will wish that Peter ended up with Wendy.

  • same here *sigh*

  • that is true but with the way the book ended and the time period the movie took place the the matchup wasn't so bad.

  • second star on the right straight until morning.

    ladycherry11

  • Hook > Pirates of the Carribean!

  • no doubt.

  • no no hook > capt. sparrow

  • no no hook > capt. sparrow

  • THIS MOVIE IS THE BEST EVER MADE!!! Better than, yes even, Pirates of the carribean. Hook in this is so AMAZING!!!Love little black boy too! Robin makes a great Pan! Gives me the Chills. L.O.L

  • Yea, to me, this has so much more value and feel good moments than pirates of the carribean. I don't know, it's (hook) just way more entertaining in my opinion.

  • this is my favorite scene of the movie.

  • so magical i love it

  • Hey! Don't talk like that! Who knows? You could really learn to fly and never have to grow up. You just have to believe and I'm sure it'll happen! :)

  • I always wanted to be a female version of Peter Pan, to be able to fly like that and never to grow up and live in Neverland.. Too bad that never happened :(

  • OMG. love. love this scene. So good. Everythin about it is amazing, from the fantastic score to the the end, so good.

This scene, more than any other scene in a movie, represents my childhood and i always wanted to fly when i saw this scene

  • This films brings back more memories of me childhood than almost anything else.

  • this is my greatest childhood film of all time.

why they never brought out hook 2 i will never no lol

  • could have ruined a great film if they brought out a second one

  • Yeah, i remember watching this when i was like 4 years old, it gets to me every time i watch it. in all fiarness, its probably best that they didn't make a second one, i mean it would kinda ruin the story. but if they could pull it off and make it good, then i'm for it, lol.

  • yes ure right i forgot ^^'

  • i always wanted to find the way to the never neverland, i kept in mind the 2nd star left.. neverland ^^

  • 2nd star to the RIGHT. not left.

  • man dis scene gives me goosebumps so kool

  • this movie is so touching and brings back childhood memories

  • the story fo this movie is amazing truly a Spielberg masterpiece

but if you think about it it`s too sad that Peter ended with Wendy`s grandchild... there is a scene in the movie where Wendy pactically said to him that even the day she married was in love with him and expected him to stop her wedding...

  • this is my favourite scene in a film, one of my happiest childhood memories, my biggest dream in the whole world and the only scene in a film which manages to take my breath away and give me goosepimples ever single time i watch it!
