Hmm.. I'm pretty sure he had to use an adapter because he used some of his lenses from the traditional Alpha DSLR camera and there are only 2-3 E-mount lenses for the NEX.

Was the NEX-5 videos shot with the kit lenses or did he use high end pro lenses with an adapter?

becareful with someone with Japanese toy cam called NEX-5.. it does look like a toy.. but its loaded as hell. for an under $1000, we almost got everything with NEX-5. Optical image staibilizer HS shooting, multi-burst panoramic shoots, aps censor, all i need now is just an adapter and f1.4 50mm lens.

@Isle0fRed Yes - there is color correction on the b-roll. But the photos and video that were shot with the NEX was not color corrected.

I´m trying to decide if I stay with the NEX-5 or wait for this NEX-VG10. The first intention of my purchase is for video amateur production (you tube), but NEX-5 comes with the all in one package and is very portable... what do I truly sacrifice for the video feature if I buy a NEX-5 to start with compare to the NEX-VG10?

@aleriga1981cr There's a NEX-7 rumored with 1080p @ 60 & 24fps shooting, and 720p at 120fps!!! (there's morem, but they're the main new video settings)

I'm waiting to see what that would be, lets face it, (to me) it's the difference of about £1000 - and well....thats like $1500. Even if I need a NEW external mic for the NEX-7 (sub £100) it's still leaves me £900 better off =P
