  • hight speed very nice

  • Looks nice. Is this wind turbine available in India

  • 素晴らしい!

    日本のメーカー、ゼファー社!

  • I love the tail designed to keep it pointed into the wind. Great for turbulent locations but every so often it looks like a puppy trying to bite its own tail..

  • I wonder how often birds fly into it.

  • @MrAwsome514 I will bet it is less then thay are eaten by cat's or hit by cars want to bet

  • @CCampana64 I will bet it is less than the ones that are eaten by me. But you know PETA will complain like hell if they even find one... and I don't mean the cool PETA (People for the Eating of Tasty Animals). No I mean the bad PETA... the ones that most of the countries in the world recognize as a terrorist organization because of all the arson they have been involved in.

  • I dreamed of something similar but did not know how to incorporate it. I think it can produce more energy by pushing against the stronger wind. Its like a whip, the energy is transfered to the prop. Things slowly are coming around.

  • Furling limits output greatly. We let ours rip.

  • @faerydhhlo God damn it man... No one wants to go to your scam filled shit hole! I would think you would have taken a hint after the first million or so times you have been flagged for spam.

  • How much more power would this turbine create if it used braking instead of break-away tail to control over-speed? I bet it would be a lot. Hard to believe this little turbine is more than 500watts too, 1kw? Really? If so, that's awesome. What's the max/min wind speed and voltage?

  • it needs a longer tail.

  • Cool video, Have a look at my Rooftop mounted hybrid solar system on my roof. have a look at my channel where I posted up some home wind turbine video from my house.

  • Smart turbine!, The tail swings only when the windspeed-pressure is getting excessive-too high, it's called a furling mechanism, blades could-can come off or snap in 70-80 mph gusts otherwise, nice turbine, appearance copied by Chinese on Aeolus model.

  • The tail mechanism is not a furling mechanism. The tail is used to efficiently keep the turbine pointed into wind. The AirDolphin has a maximum rpm of 1280, so gusts of up to 140mph are no issue. The tail design also allows the turbine to be placed in highly turbulent environment.

  • Awesome power, my friend has one mounted to a honda civic. He pretends it's a turbo.

  • Lol thats funny, if you want sound smart-aleck tell him it actually slows you down with the wind resistance.

  • weve got one of those up the road me and my freind werer walking back in the dark and kept thinking there were vecheals coming and it was a little wind turbine it sounded like a motor bike exatly the same design as that one

  • How is that built, or this this a manufactured product?

  • Our office is powering by Whisper turbine Need to say: wind is difficult energy, even strong wind will not produce enough energy to supply ALL our demands, we USED TO have. The fact is that people now consume TOO MUCH energy. Example: Home windturbine will work all night at good wind to supply you with energy, that will be consumed by coffee machine, to boil and warm coffee for some hours! WE NEED TO SAVE ENERGY ALSO!

Saving even 20%, we JUST now achieve the goal to have 20% gr. en. by 2020!

  • You should start saving one little piece of your 20% by shutting off your computer and never posting on Youtube again.

  • I also like how it takes a rest every minute or so by turning completely sideways to the wind.

  • @jizzmonger

That's called furling. It's supposed to do that. Generators are only rated to certain wind-speeds. Any speeds above their rating will damage the generator. Engineers implement furling for that reason...to protect the generator. Look at the tail..see how it bends? By setting it to bend at a certain pressure, it allows the generator to turn out of the wind and slow the blade speed down. That's how it protects the generator.

  • I like how it stays nice and stable, always pointed into the wind.

  • I think you have it backwards, the "tail" is actually facing the wind and turns the blades sideways if the wind gets to strong. I may be wrong?

  • Now that's moving! Nice video.
