My s8100 takes very poor pics in low light! drives me crazy... I am pretty new at this, so besides "opening the flash" is there a setting that I need to be adjusting? Thanks
You must have some settings for this in your cam.May be these 2 points can help:(These are setting available with my FujiFilm A400 Cam)
1 : Go to setting n find the "ISO" Increase it like say it to 400 or 500 (Remember to disable the Auto function n select the "Night Mode"The Moon n the Star Sign)
2: I guess you would also find the EV (Exposure Value)option in setting as well, adjust that as well..
Try out one option at a time n check result.I hope so this would help you.
Lmao Soz but this isnt an SLR, SLR's have interchangable lens, This is a digital Point and shoot that Emualtes a Digital SLR, and Fujifilms S81XX Series arent good at all, They have whheeey to much noise artifacts past around 150mm zoom about 6X zoom. and 18X its aweful, To much colour fringing and Noise artifacts and also the images are blured with unsharpend and unfocused results, i would suggest saving up a bit more to consider getting either a S9600 or S100FS.

I am sorry to say this but that review was HORRIBLE... She provided dull information about the product and her termanology was way off.

.... it is not a DSLR! lovely girl~~
btw, I have one of these and the lens of this cam was actually poorly made and image quality isn't really good !(particularly when it fully zoom in !)
and also it is quite slow. !
I would rather Canon
( I now own Canon 450D ! ) which is far more better than that little rubbish

No. set zoom prior to video and it has to stay there. However the quality is quite good, and it will play directly to tv.

can you zoom when you film?
gicapetrescu09 3 years ago
Nope

last comment refers to the review, not the camera, that's not bad at all, but please find a decent review, such as 'Camera Labs'
