  • impressive

  • Was that a real, restored Tony? or CGI, I know the Fat Jack(thunderbolt) was real.

  • nice planes, nice porn-music...

  • WHAT is up with this music!? BAD choice.

  • zeros were awesome ass air planes i saw one tearing it up this weekend at the willow run airport in michigan it was just a phenominal display of agility and power

  • well all i know is if we didn't have to fight the germans the war in the pacific and against japan would have been over in early 1944

  • Fine video, great animation.

  • Please tell us what/which program(s) were used in the making of this fine sim movie

  • The japanese liberated india from the british empire and kicked their asses out of the rest of asia!!!!

  • @YUSKHAN Liberated India ????

  • @YUSKHAN Japan never liberated anything. They were hunting resources, enslaving all people in captured territoy, leaving no respite or mercy. See China, Korea, Thailand or Cambodia for example. They were as imperialistic as the brittish or french or maybe worse.

  • @anneloev

Bro, you bring tears to my eyes

  • @YUSKHAN Sorry to offend you, but the great nation of Japan acted as imperialistic as any western nation in Asia. Japan had all to gain since the technological evolvment during the -30 ´ies, but did not have the resources necessary. USA denied them of protectional reasons, hence the Japanese expansion. The militaristic culture in Japan during the time acted against the emperors will, making Japan an enemy against the western world, not an equal as it could have been.

  • @YUSKHAN And i also want to say that the Japanese technology - and also war technology - was in many ways superior to the opposing american knowledge during the beginning of the war. But in lack of resources and due to draining of human resources in skilled workers prior to shipping them away as soldiers, Japan never had a chance to match a resourceful nation as the US. Maybe in the beginning, but never in the long run. But nonetheless Japan managed to produce wonderful aircraft as the above.

  • @anneloev

    They should have bombed america

  • @YUSKHAN Yes, but never had sufficient resources to bomb by long-distance armaments all over US industrial complexes - this was regarded when Japan attacked Pearl Harbour. A surprisal attack to US fleet was the main plan since Japan lacked long-ranged bombers and the capability to follow it up by naval resources to corner -in the american pacific fleet. US had substantial naval forces bound in the Atlantic, but lacked timed-response hence the shipping via Panama-canal.

  • @YUSKHAN

    EAT SHIT!

  • @mulletcar

    They Should have nuked america

  • @YUSKHAN

Well they didn't, so take your loathsome attitude and EAT SHIT!

  • @mulletcar

The first atomic bomb was ment to land on american not Japan, The Germans had a very successful plan to bomb america, just look into The Nazi plan to bomb Newyork, The Germans had building atomic weapons at the Norsk Hydro plant, which were going to be shipped of to the Japanese, the Germans gave them up to the US, america is going to be the second country to be nuked, but with a thermonuclear weapon, believe me it's coming, fuck the past, think of the future then, it's bright haha!

  • the deadliest aircraft at all

  • Japan defeat of Russia was not decisive.Germans defeated Russia too but failed to prevent rise of Soviet Union.Japan did not attack Soviet Union with Germany. It's still not clear why.Instead they attacked America and lost in shame with a 1:5 kill ratio and atomic bombs. This is dissapointing.Nazis and Communists were same shit but it would have been nice to beat the Soviets. It would have been more decisive.

  • @Olengher Japan didn't attack the USSR in WW2 because they had everything to lose and nothing to gain. They needed oil, not enemy air bases within range of their homeland.

  • @davidrodgersNJ not really, soviets had every resource includin oil.I think it has more to do with japanese trust in their fleet.

  • @Olengher The Soviets' oil was in the Black Sea/Caspian Sea region, many thousands of miles from the Pacific Coast

  • @davidrodgersNJ i just found out about battle of Khalkhin Gol.Seems japan tried and lost.Marked their path for rest of war, went into Asia for resources and collided with british and american interests.Anyway, SUnion was fair shot was larger than whole North America, full of resources and accessible.Just that Japan was out of sync with Germany, this was before the war even started.

  • @davidrodgersNJ It's my understanding the USSR & Japan had a non-aggression treaty until after Hiroshima, then they declared war. The oil that they needed came from the Dutch East Indies & Malaysia. And by the way, I don't recall ever reading or hearing about how Japan "liberated" India from Britain as YUSKHAN claims; do you have any info on this, out of curiosity? Thanx.

  • 非常に素晴らしいビデオの男

  • Beautiful warbirds!

The Kawasaki Ki-61 Hien "Tony" is just amazing.

  • cgi but good

  • beautlful !!

  • There are very few that still exist. I have personally seen one (mostly) original "Zeke". I have also been following the restoration of an original N1K2 "George". VERY respectable aircraft.

  • @The5145

What is that said? We only read English, This is a Vietnamese reader. thanks!

  • @CharlieDoan

This video is accurate and great!

I think this video perfectly captures the characteristics of each model.

Why would such a thing can be....Uh, huh. I compared to other fighters.

Zeek was out-of-date. and a feeling of light aircraft,is not it?

*Tony and *Frank wing shape is modern and very beautiful

    I understand in this video.

    *Tony=(Hien fighter)

    *Frank=(hayate fighter)

    OK?

  • Ah yes- watching warbird and listening to elevator music.

  • Wow, it definately fooled me. I was about to celebrate because I didn't think any of thes eplanes still existed in flying condition. Ah well. Very cool video though!

  • 5*****

  • Hi

    Excellent movie.

The work of CGI artist Masaru Tochibayashi, aka "Tochy Suppon", ?

    Looks great

    Respect

    CM6 :-)

  • FANTASTIC ! CGI ! i ONLY WISH AND DREAM THESE PLANES SURVIVED AND WERE REAL ! SHAME THE WERE DESTROYED FOR FUTURE GENERATIONS !!!

  • how could you do that? this is not a camputer game?

  • have some respect, even if they were the enemy. and they gave us a run for our money...

  • Joke army? You're the joke here. Japan evolved out of the middle ages (around 1850) to one of the most advanced nations the world has ever seen in less than a 100 years. Already in 1895 they defeated China, and in 1905 Russia. And be honest, use some real arguments instead of blabbing about pokemon. No-one will take you seriously.

  • Can anyone tell me if I can get this CGI special on dvd? Simply love japanese aircraft and sea power......

  • Nice work, Well dont 10 out of 10

  • Awesome work! Please don't pay even a moments attention to the comments of those that don't have an appreciation or understanding of what this takes to do. Really terrific!

  • Much Better if we could hear the engines rather than shitty cheesey music

  • Realistic! Nice Job.

  • WOW, neat little vid...the planes look real! I'll use the vid to paint-up some planes I have. VERY nicely done. The music could be better, but still terrific.

  • fag, this isn't ur vid
