  • She was the best

  • the two best singers of the 20th Century were Judy Garland and Karen Carpenter. both amazingly talented, and died way too young!

  • Judy was a very beautiful girl, she was far from ugly!

  • @maleficentdiva Exactly! I think everyone else was just jealous of her!

  • They talk about Judy Garland looks she was no ElizabethTaylor who is.She was not ugly .Judy as teen had that girl next door look. But as she mature she became very attractive woman minus the drugs. And her talent out shine all actress who came before and after.

  • No..Ms.Luft..your mom Judy Garland..she is the greatest performer..Ever!

  • No..Ms.Luft..Your mom..Ms.Judy Garland was the greatest performer ever!

  • That bizzare regurgitator..who'd swallow and barf up strange thingswho in vaudeville with Judy..he appeared in a European version of a L&H Film comedy"Chickens Come Home"

  • Where Lorna got this Brooklyn/Queens honk of a dialect is beyond me, for example at :15, "pirfawmince." She was born and taken home to Holmby Hills, CA, lived brieftly in swank Scarsdale, NY, then back to Bel Air as a child, then alternated between Manhattan and LA. "Now that oy have children..." I don't get it. The closest she ever got to Brooklyn was when her mother played there in 1958, but even then Lorna stayed in a nearby upscale suburb.

  • @defundthewar Hahaaa I thought the same thing! I'm from that suburb in NY where they stayed and I can assure you, she could've lived here her whole life and never got that accent. It's all an act, at least to me.

  • @surscrib91 But why the Pinky Toscadero act? How can this affectation help her career... why would she think it would? Odd.

  • @defundthewar Ehh, I' m not sure if it helped her career, but I think Lorna probably needed to find herself. I actually feel bad for Lorna. She doesn't only have to live in the shadow of her mother, but also her half sister. Since Lorna never became as famous as Liza, she retained her fame from talking about Judy's life. I think she puts on this accent as a way of giving herself some originality between her, her sister and her mother. Meanwhile, to me and you, Lorna sounds odd.

  • ..cant sing a note.. lmao!

  • This is the best Lorna interview that i've seen. Thanks for the post! This made me really happy:)

  • As far as I'm concerned Ms.Garland was and still beautiful to me.

I'm sorry that she was abused and ripped off by Mr.Mayer,Messers:Begleman

    And Fields,Mr.Berkley and Mr.Aubrey.

  • "The grandmother didn't care about Judy Garland, the human being, she cared more about Judy Garland the product", that's interesting.

  • wouldnt you think she would get bored repeating the same stuff about her mother over and over and over again

I guess its cheap therapy for her

  • Our world would be a much darker and sadder place were it not for the tremendous light of this little Frances Gumm. So great was the fire within her that it continues to burn like a small sun long after her physical form has vanished from our sight.
