Sapa village is an awesome place to visit, we got in touch with just one of these kids and the rest of her friends joined us as they brought us around to the nearby farms and rice terraces :) There's a strong taste of ethnic culture and local village feel. Great weather, great atmosphere and great people!
Sapa is northwest of Hanoi, Vietnam, near the border of China. It would take about ten hours of train ride to get there. Mostly high mountains nice view. There are about 800,000 of Hmong people live in north vietnam, twice the number of Hmong live in Laos
Nyob Zoo! They are Hmong/Miao vietnamese. Those girls are part of the Black Hmong residing in Sapa and they speak English because of western vistors and Missionaries. But apparently they speak White Hmong/Miao. Awesome video clip!!
Aren't they Hmong Chinese? I could understand a little bit of their language. I know that there are some Hmong people still living in China. Didn't know that it was in Vietnam. Must be on the border I suppose? Thanks for the clarification though...
