ever notice that any extreme metal band is always a slayer ripoff to someone? could that be because they do not know shit about slayer, or that they don't know shit about metal?
i love slayer but deicide does not rip the off deicide is totally different and they actually beleive in what they say. slayer is not satanist ,deicide is

Slayer have a lot of similaraties to Deicide, the bassist / vocalist frontman, the satanic image (at least in Slayers old days), the song structures and length of song, the insane guitar solos... but they are obviously different and anybody with half of an ear can tell that.
Slayers a thousand times better then Deicide. At least Slayer has groove and is not just random growling and screaming. All there songs sound the same

Well i would consider myself to have a good musical ear, i am a lover of all genres of music, as each genre of music has something great to offer (Except Dance), but no, i am a big Deicide fan, and i have slayers first 4 albums, and i just have to say, there is barely anything similar about them, Brian and Eric Hoffmans Guitar Riffs are completely differant to anything you would hear in 90% of Slayer songs.
