  • Do you have the tab?

  • you need a how to

  • u look g4y

  • can you pleeeeeeease teach me how to do that ????

  • Very good! Great cover of a great song!

  • dude nice cover

  • not bad, the notes that leaded up to where it kicks in were too choppy and when it kicked in there were no pinch harmonics or massive vibrato, I have seen alot of covers of this song on you tube not doing the pinch harmonics part and i don't understand why, why did you leave out the pinch harmonics? just curious

  • @SOYUNPINCHEBOY because thats they way randy played it and this aint randy man

  • @motleycrue24 thats true, I was a little too hard, not bad!

  • i thought it sounded pretty good, probably better then what i could do

  • Hey man not bad!

the verse sounds a little different, try switching the notes around a little.

  • very nice guitar but the distortion...

  • like you facial expression at 1:32'ish haha, like "ok that works"

anyways not bad if you learned it by ear.

here's my version, editing sucks but its all there

  • wrong notes = shit

  • A Jonas Brother playing an Ozzy song?

  • Sorry,I was wrong, the guitar is rightly tuned, you are just playing the wrong notes at some points...

  • Man,the guitar's not tuned!!!:S

  • dude come, that sucked

  • bfm put up of u palying it if u cant then shut the fuk up!5 star vid

  • thats sick dude. ROCK ON

  • The distortion didn't sounds very good, maybe the camera's mic, great cover anyway!

  • r u usin rp-50

  • ya its good but u need a better fat tube crunch for the heavy and a different guitar. fenders were never meant for randys calliber. more gain doest mean more rock especialy on a twangy fender with imitation "humbuckers". but take this as constuctive critisesm not offenseive

  • dude shane your nuts. strats not being good for heavy metal is bs, i got one word for ya- MAIDEN!!!

and anyways- hes learnin the damn song, not going on a tone grail quest. id rather be a good player with ok gear over a shitty player with alot of expensive gear anyday.

    keep rockin jimmyb, not bad.

  • I agree with you Vival, but you can't leave out Jimi Hendrix and SRV cause there Icon's for Strat user's Like myself...lol

Anyways keep on Rockin JimmyB you did an AWESOME Job

    Good Luck,

    Good Hunting and

    God Bless

  • sick guitar

  • you're playing the choruses wrong but the intro sounds sweet

  • yep yep, it is tuned down half a step as per the record...thanks for all the comments!

  • finally a video where somebody has it in the right key...

  • amazing job man

  • if you dont like theis song then y are u watching the video HardRockingHeadBanger?

  • sweet guitar. And nice job. Great song to play.

  • edword sissor hands?

  • nice job

  • good sound!! I like your play!!!

  • damn. awesome song you chose to cover and did it justice.. very good bro keep it up.

  • i think the original piece refered to is carmina buranna....it's an incredible piece, saw it live recently sat right under the pianos...no question the grand piano part is where diary's main riff hails from...both give me chillls....good chills!!

  • AWESOMUNO!! RANDY RULES!!!

  • well why not someone post the original Leo Brower piece Randy took the music from?

  • why because he uses the same progression?

That's a rather moot point. Many songs share the same progression.

  • no it snot the same progression, its literally the composition as Y.J.Malmsteen would take Pachabel's Cannon and put Pachabel's name on it or even comprise it into a song with a vocalist.

Not Saying Randy ripped a modern alive and kicking composer from Cuba but just that its more credible for both RR and L Brower that people know.

  • Instead of hammering up that 2nd note at the end of the first set harmonize it, you should get that squeal. Don't be affraid to to PULL that whammy bar.

    Thanx

  • Dude,

I thuoght it was an awesome effort.

Get some SEYMOUR DUNCAN Pickups and DIADDARIO strings and you can get that squeal (harmonic)at the end of the first set like Dime, Zakk and Randy.

    Gimme an update.

    Thanx

  • idk man ghs boomers are really good strings too

  • I think a chorus pedal will help on the clean part. The first note of the solo is a G on the B string prebent to A then you play the prebent note and the A on the high E string together as a uninson then slowly lower the prebent note and it will sound like the note fell from the sky. Keep Rockin

  • srry but that wasnt that good....like i got th whole idea of what u were doing, but the tone and shit sucked ass and the verse was played COMPLETELY wrong....check out my version for a reference

  • I play that song pretty much better than this beginner...

  • test

  • awsome vid mad im subscribing to you

  • yeah, the rather messy distortion is actually a result of using the pickup position that gives the best clean sound, i havent got time to flick it for the heavy parts....i do though for the middle solo section which is clearer. Not alternate picking gives me a slightly better palm mute sound on the main riff...again due to the less than ideal distortion sound, it aint perfect but the notes are right! cheers, more comments please!!

  • nice playing, but you need to choose a new distortion and alternate ur picking with the electric part at the starting like 1:26

  • arrrrgggg....camera died on the outo...i'm so annoyed but at least it's only on the outro!! rock on
