This is definitely one of the best AFI albums. I WILL say that there is nothing like older AFI. Too much nostalgia for me. This shit will make you feel immortal if you listen to it enough.

The art of drowning-Ever and a day/ Days of phoenix (which alittle more of a popular rock sound)/6 to 8/ and ofcourse MORNING STAR(one of their softest songs possibly ever by them?). Its easy to see within even other songs on the albums. its not a far fetched idea at all to see that they've changed alot or as some may argue...totally.
Decemberunderground is one of the most average albums ever, I can listen to all of it without it ever catching my interest. That's what I think at least, haha.

@marinoblefighter amen, in my humble opinion MOST of the bs about them selling out is coming from kids who got into afi with SOS. when it came out alot of people didnt like it and knocked those kids for not knowing the old stuff, they went and listened to the old and they like, now its their turn surprise! just trying to show they like the band i think but dont worry they will grow up one day too. maybe then they will be able to enjoy the whole afi catalog. sick solo in that medicate song!!!.

If your definition of common sense is something blatantly obvious...well, you say that you like current AFI music. Isn't it blatantly obvious, by an unchanging band lineup, that their music here is the very foundation for subsequent albums like STS and DU?

Also, I'm going to step out on a limb and say that your proclivities for the arts (mostly musical, but I'll add your level of vernacular to that) are naught. If they were, you would either applaud the level of skill required to play this song. Most musicians, even when faced with music that they don't like, will admit it's technical value even if they don't like the sound.

It is so weird to go through all the albums AFI have done and notice that gradual change to what they are now! Every album was one step closer, maybe not with Very proud Of Ya, but each on had something closer to DU, i dno bout Crash love, I'm hoping its better than DU! though, i still dont think DU is a bad album, its just not this good!

very true. SYMOYE-Third season. Black Sails- God Called in Sick today/Clove Smoke Catharsis. The art of drowning-Ever and a day/ Days of phoenix (which alittle more of a popular rock sound)/6 to 8/ and ofcourse MORNING STAR(one of their softest songs possibly ever by them?). Its easy to see within even other songs on the albums. its not a far fetched idea at all to see that they've changed alot or as some may argue...totally.
