  • Nicely presented! I agree that mentioning the blocking diode on a later clip would be a good idea. IN5400 50 volt diode can be bought at any Radio Shack. This is placed on the positive wire coming from the panel with the stripe on the diode on the panel side . The post on sealing the cells with an epoxy ,polyeurothane etc is also a great idea.

  • How about the diodes?? are they important on this kind of stuff??

  • @lllBoRUSSlll yes they are. Without them energy would flow back from your batteries to the cells <_<, and you would lose your charge :(. Also I may love how this video demonstrates ow to Aline the cells I disagree with his casing of the cells and the lack of instructions as to how to connect each panel to each other.

  • It's tab wire not bus wire to soldier the cells together!

  • would you plz tell what thing (wire or rod or other thing) you have used to join solar cells.???????

secondly at 2:02 what are u doing?

  • @TheArrr1 The "wire rod thing"is 2 mm solder coated solar ribbon / tabbing wire / bus wire.

from 2:02: I am applying silicone kit to the back of the solar cells, so they stick to the back glass sheet.

  • Very nice video. Normally it takes about couple of days to create Solar Panel. Take care
