Works great for me too. I had one when they first came out, but I returned it because of voice quality. Bought one last month and it's been great. Definitely need good clean computer and fast internet. Like the feature, computer off I still get me voicemail and can retrieve it from anywhere! great

I wish I could be. I was dead tired. I teak care of my gram 24/7. she is 90 and bedridden so needs help with everything. even if i did manage to get 8 hours of sleep thats still 124hrs a week. so i am just that tired.

Magicjack is awesome. people want perfection. They want to be able to do a million things with there already slow pc. well, magic jack works perfect for me. fax,voicemail,callwaiting,id,e­tc... for 60 bucks for 5 yrs how can you not get it. its better than a payphone,cell,or any prepay plan. yrs for so little... even if it only let me send text i would have gotten it. I say try it, if you hate it they refund you. just save 60 bucks aside and try it. if you have a problem tell me Ill help you out.

I posted 4 months ago and still works awesome. 60 bucks for 5 years! and yes if you buy one and bring it to the uk you will have a us number and people can call you like they were calling local.

can you call cell phones with it and house phones also or just magicjack to magicjack only?

The $250 one is just the same. as long as you have cable or dsl net you can hook it to a usb and call local,long distance and just like a normal phone. no, the person you called does not need one. it cost to call from usa to uk but if someone in the uk has one then its just like calling a local number FREE! free voicemail,call waiting,3way,call id... Why pay 20-30 a month for vonage when the price for a yr is 60 for 5 years! and yes you can call and get calls from cell too! I also use it to fax!

go to advanced options and minimize to tray. then minimize it and it should stay away unless you click it.

I have it and it DOES NOT stay minimized. If you receive a call or someone picks up the phone it will maximize and minimize any program you are using.

your correct when you get a call or pick up it displays. you can minimize it after though, its not stuck there. its just like call id coming on to diosplay a call. fact is for 20 a yr for all even voicemail your getting a heck of a deal. id deal with a window over a pay call any day.
