Great tutorial, not sure if you have looked at this item or not, but I watched a video where a lady received a package and a friend had sent her a "hot glue gun helper", she didn't mention the manufacturer, but it had some silicone things that slipped on your fingers and I know that it would work much better than thimbles. Just wanted to share that!!! TFS your tutorials, Darlene

They are selling some with really small tips at my local Robert's store. I bet you could find some online if you don"t have any local. It seems like Carlene the pinkscrapper got one awhile ago and showed it. I might check out her old videos and see- I believe she showed it when she first got it.

These are so pretty! Have you considered getting a low temp glue gun instead? I find that with my low temp gun it doesn't really hurt me to get it on my fingers once in awhile. :)

Loved your flowers and can't wait to give it a try... have you tried using a pen to hold the fabric to the glue to save you fingers or even a pair of tweezers... have only just discovered you so now I am going to check your other videos...tfs

I guess I like pain! lol...naw..I have better control is why I use my fingers:) Someone was sweet to me and sent me a link for some "finger savers" their like a special plastic thimbles and save your fingers from getting burbed. OMG!!! These are beautiful! You are so talented and patient! Not sure if you know but Cosmo Cricket came out with something called Guppers (I think!) and it's basically a circle with a big glop of glue on it for people to make their own flowers, no hot glue needed! Just thought I should mention that...

Love your flowers!!! I feel so bad for you burning your fingers..SACRAFTER did a video the other day that was similar to these but she used a running stitch and gathered them...maybe you could do the same so it's not so much gluing(and burning fingers)? LOL TFS!!! they are beautiful!!

I didn't do a running stitch because the fabrics I used are pretty delicate and I needed the stitch from the machine to anchor them down well enough. But some other fabrics would be great for the running stitch, I did that with my other Prima flower doops..lol.. thanks for watching:) xoxo
