EXCELLENT video....what a pleasure to hear Mr. Corsaro's inner thoughts about how he approaches the art of directing others. Opera is a complete art form, but that complete form is only achieved when directed with the thought behind it that Mr. Corsaro describes. Phyllis Curtin has long been my favorite soprano and Marilyn Horne my favorite mezzo-soprano. They are both wonderful singer/actors. Mr. Floyd's operas, "Susannah" and "Of Mice and Men" hold a special place in my heart too.
