You can't compare Guitar Hero with an MMORPG.... there is a hugh difference. Guitar Hero is supposed to be a "play music" game but Lotro only uses this music system as an "extra" which means they aren't supposed to be laying too much time on it. So like I said before, you can't compare thoose two...

nah, all classes can play the basic lute and horn, however the minstrel can play all the musical instruments.
