Hmmm... Now that I think about it, I replaced the wiper blades on my car around March of 2008, and the ones on the van were sometime around December when it was raining a lot :)
What a selection of driving conditions and weather. I don't think I've ever seen criss-crossy wipers like that on a car in the UK. They tend to both go the same way.
All that weather took place in the space of a five hour drive :) Most cars in North America, and that includes the imported ones, have wipers that go parallel like the ones you describe since about the mid 1960s except the wipers in the UK look wrong to me because they are on the other side :)
Before that, American cars had symmetrical wipers like the ones on my van. My 1964 Cadillac had symmetrical wipers, but my 1965 Cadillac had parallel ones :)
I would have pulled the same move, but the cop car that came speeding through there before the mail truck was something that I didn't want to encounter while trying to squeeze back into line... Good eye on that railway car!
The highways are straight over flat ground, but they get twisty in the hills :)
I regard a lot of these videos as pieces between the main events... Chronologically, the nine 888 videos that I put up last year during and immediately after 888 should go next :)
We got stuck in a jam on our way home last Sunday, nearly missed the last museum / airfield planned.. but we got there!!That is the downside travelling by car..
..but IF you have a second to spare, I think you will like the video I posted.. :) :) Not that I'm flogging it in any way.. :)
Fun Vid :) .. Cool to share randomness haha :)
