I love this phone too! Had it for 2 yrs now and when i drop it I just pick up all the pieces and keep walkin. I WANT THE UPGRADED VERSION. WHATEVER THAT WOULD BE. I JUST HATE TOUCH SCREENS SOMETIMES.

i have nokia 5220 xpressmusic, its was launched with 5130 in market.

Nokia 5220 measures about 78gram. None of nokia phone has external play n pause keys, these phone plays songs very loudly and it supports fm rds, mail, gprs. Very few people have these two mobiles. Its made for music lovers. Dont know why nokia stoped manunfacturing these two phones after 6 months of its launch.

There's no stand by mode in it.

Really good cheap phone, got good battery, decent looks, can go on internet, has an app store, music player, good keypad feel and a average camera/video player, only problem i had is when i inserted memory card into the slot, i managed to put it in a space underneath it where it got stuck unfortunately... So i now have two SD cards in a tiny slot haha

@lotrrules1 yes you can transfer music onto it with album covers and such like, and music quality is good through a decent pair of headphones and I have to disagree with what he said in the video, the music loudspeaker is really good, really loud and clear

Bought this phone 2 years back. Would say that it has not disappointed. Very basic functionalities but what it has, it delivers on those. Music quality is awesome and one of the best in its price range. In fact, technical results show that music quality is at par with iPod 2G. Thats a huge one coming at Rs 4.5k range in India.

Well i bought this phone 1 year ago,but it spoil because i downloaded java games..so be very carefull for what u r downloading in it or else it can AYTO TURN OFF.it can happen with music files too.But anyways the phone is awesome,has very good audio quality and the photos r okay ,the video not so good quality but i didnt have problem since i'm not taking video.If u r asking (Will u buy this phone again???)the answer is ''yes'' but this time i would be very carefull for what i'm downloading in it

This happens to me too but I fixed mine bu updating phone through Ovi software from nokia. It's free. Now my phone works fine and faster because of it's new version.

Great affordable phone: perfect size, good screen resolution, looks good, it's really simple to use and it has all the important features for a "budget phone". There is no wifi (when will wifi be available on Nokia entry-level phones??), camera is poor, it has Nokia OS instead of Symbian OS, but you have 3g, memory card slot, browser, messenger, radio, good audio quality... Mainly it's a great buy if you want an affordable and yet complete, good quality handset.

great sound, great speaker, ive got in it the 16g sandisk memorey card.

more than 2000 songs. it reads folders like a computer (very easy to find songs, not like symbian phones)

it takes up to 10 minuets to read all the song after you add songs. but its a small drawback.

the camera is very poor, but in music wise its the best phone there is on the market

i recommend this phone.

Got 1 and after a month I've decided to keep it. Nevertheless, the lows and the mids sound much better on my iPod Nano :P I've tested both with reference headphones (custom equalizer on the phone). All-together, I take my hat off in front of Nokia's engineers for the excellent sound quality stuffed in such a cheep device. With the Nokia BH-505 headset this phone sounds incredible, much better then any iPod with DEFAULT earphones. Just throw away the stereo handsfree included in the 5130 box!
