i dont get this game. Im not that high of a level and im trying to grind souls and then this asshole shows up. I didnt kill him in teh game, i had nothing to do with him, and now i cant even revisit this level. What happened? What do i do now (other than turn this bullshit off and play a game thats not as masochistic).
@killustrator This world is in pure black tendency now, that's why he's here in Phantom form. Wait until the world tendency changes before revisiting it. Or, if you already cleared the Adjudicator boss, start there, backtrack to the beginning and kill him from behind. Using one of the various tactics on the net, like hiding with "Cloak" magic and using Poison cloud on him etc.

As Gunfire1012 mentioned below, "Dragon Bone Smasher" sword seems to be more useful; beat the final boss of world two "Stonefang Tunnel" to get it. Or the guy in this video seems to use the sword of "Old King Boran", which you can get in "Boletaria Palace" (look up how to get it on the net).
@babushka133 Dont use a spear. I know it's safe to poke from behind a shield, but it'll take too long and he would heal before you can kill him. I had 20 Strength and used a regular +4Quality L.Sword and just rolled forward during his attacks, backstabbed him and R1 slash when he got up. Rinse, repeat. Earn a useless Hiltless katana.
@skatediper you have to make you'r WT pure white then he'll be there as a human looking for a sword known as "makoto" the sword is in the 2nd level of shrine of storm if you give him the sword he'll attack you if you refuse to give it he'll attack you as well and if you hold the ssword in you'r hand he will also attack you XP
summary you will be attacked anyway
i the WT is pure black he will be BLACK PHANTOM and when you kill him he drop hitliss

Not like it's even relevant any more, but BP Satsuki's the one fight where the only counter to his ultra-aggressiveness is to be even more aggressive yourself. Get a weapon that swings fast, and get in his face (the curved sword class works well; daggers might work, but have too short of a range) until he's gone. He won't have a chance to heal if you're constantly whacking his face/countering his blows.
hmm well idk why he isnt attacking u as soon as i get to the gay place the queer runs to me and beats the shit out of me. i guess u can beat him easly if u ride his ass and dont give him a chance to heal but its hard lol every walkthrough i have seen on here the people have like million hp and awsome eq tsk tsk
@elvensbane I love those clothes. If I'm not mistaken you find those clothes in 5-2 around the end of the level near but not in the swamp. They're hidden quite well. You have to drop onto a platform that is otherwise inaccessible.
the swamps a bitch to travel in thats the one place i hate the most.. that and the noobs at the first level 1 - 1 they slash like 5 times and hit shit it piss's me off.
@elvensbane he's only half right they're called the shaman clothes at the end of 5-2 there is a few goblin shamans search around the goblin village the shaman is well hidden but once you find him and kill him he'll drop the shaman clothes
@Cillianl0 yup, there on a shaman if you walk toward the short cut and fall down on the house just before the wall you will find him :S im done with DS playing story gets old
