  • my guitar player has a theremin! awesome job!!! great tune

  • They didn't technically use it, it just borrows a little bit from it.

  • You idiot it works by your hand's electric you shithead noob.

  • That's great, except it's not fake.

  • That was awsome ! perfect sound of the song :)

  • I don't see how if you've played SMB3 enough that you wouldn't recognize it from there. O.o I can hear the OoT in it, but still should be recognizable as SMB3.

  • it is.. its from like super mario bros 3.

  • yeah he thinks its mario

  • it is mario, its just very similar to the fountain

  • is the interesting the instrument jej

  • fairy fountain from zelda sounds much like this :>

  • haha sweet

  • a 'Theremin' is played by interacting with radio waves the instrument gives off.

It typically has two oscillators that give off radio frequency. One hand controls the pitch, the other hand controls volume. Pitch and volume are manipulated depending on the distance between the player's hands and the machine.

  • SO AWESOME! its an instrument (':

  • can u explain to me how this works? lol

  • i DONT know o.o but its something with the way he moves his hand i guess...?

  • I think it creates some sorta instrument that changes the electruical frequency when yu move your hands cause of electrical disturbance

  • Lol wut.

  • The electronic components of the theremin set up low-power, high-frequency electromagnetic fields around the two antennas, one controlling pitch and the other volume. The players hands alter the fields by varying their distance from the antennas. The tone-producing portion of the circuitry is known as a beat-frequency oscillator.

  • where do you get that instrament anyway

  • FUCK YOU ALL.....YES IT IS!!!!!!!!!!

  • dreads?

  • Bob marley

  • hahaha, noob.

this is when you're selecting a world.

  • what the fuck im just saying its from zelda....i no its on mario

  • umm, no it's NOT

  • ethier way.... youre both fags

  • actually it is. Fairy fountains in Ocarina of time.

  • Research about a Theremin before posting stupid comments.

  • I know what a theremin sounds like. that doesnt sound like a theremin. yeah, it sounds like a theremin, but I play the theremin.

  • That made... No sense.

  • Bowser.. your realy high bro

  • I want to play with one of those things

  • sounds a bit like fairy fountain O.o

  • from wind waker?

  • .....zelda....mario..... you know its nintendo lo!

  • @tristram599 This song is from Mario 3 came out before zelda link to the past

  • They're same songs played a little different.. This can be both zelda theme song or SMB3 cloud place. But greatly played, i hope i get my own theremin someday. :)

  • theremin

so easy a caveman can do it

  • Poor man... is only a rasta, i think xD.

  • LMAO oh god you dont know how hard you made me laugh :D

  • ha ha ha oh shit!

  • @chagollab funny as hell!!!

  • @chagollab theremin has been regarded as one of the hardest instruments to master...one of the only people to master it was the founder of the church of satan Anton Lavaye

  • @chagollab

    lol

    made me laugh! xD

  • @chagollab lollll

  • @chagollab Omg... lmfao.

  • how exactly does this "instrument" works?

  • It senses your body's electrical field. It was invented in the 1920s. The hand near or touching the loop controls volume (by moving the hand near or away from the loop); the hand near the straight antenna controls pitch likewise.

  • u rock! ive never ever herd someone that good on the theremin! it looks so hard...

  • this sounds like the file select for the zelda games!!!

  • Well , Mario and Zelda are from the same company =D

  • dumbass this is mario

  • Both Zelda and mario share alot of the same music and tunes. Example the Flute in Minish cap shares the same tune with the one in super mario three.

  • Yeah, but i think that's from the first zelda.

  • that was aweosome but just wondering where can you buy one cause i haven't seen them in any music stores i went to.

    p.s. i love the shirt

  • Internet, because they are very uncommon instruments.

  • and you suck period because clearly this guy knows how to do something interesting instead of being an asshole

  • Nice. :)

  • Actually a similar tune can be found in the fairy caves in Link to the Past, as well as some other Zelda games. There are slight differences, though. And I am NOT a Zelda N00b.

  • You do know it's most likely due to the fact that Koji Kondo is the composer of both games right?

  • Yes, I am well aware of that. Thanks though!^_^

  • Oh, haha ok then! You're welcome! =]

  • Whoa. Zack De La Rocha on a tshirt from someone playing the sexiest musical instrument ever. D:

  • it's bob marley, not ZDLR

  • wtf...'-.- how can u make such a mistake?

  • it's not like it's an insult, they're both sexiful musicains

  • No es Zack de la Rocha es Bob Marley.

  • Niiiice :D :)

  • this is from smb3 cause if u get the magic whistle, it take u to world 9 and world 9 has dis music

  • that kinda sounds like ummmm uhhh legned of zelda

  • no it doesnt...

  • yea it does

  • No it doesn't I have played both and I am playing them again currently.

  • ur probaly a zelda noob were talking about the original Zelda

  • no im not

  • I don't know how you could mistake this tune for a Zelda tune. =\ Definitely not Zelda.

  • This tune is in both SMB3 (World 3, AKA Water World) and in most Zelda games ( (Great) Fairy springs and File select screens).

Although the Zelda versions sound i bit different, they closely resemble eachother.

  • WOW, I cannot believe that I never put the two together. My bad...lol. I fail as a Zelda fan.

  • Was wondering why it sounds so familiar..

  • Yeah, but usually it's on a harp with a countermelody that's unsingable, but totally recognizable. As oposed to just the baseline of the song on a theremin

  • sounds almost a little like "SPACE INVADERS"

    (Which by the way ROCKS!)

  • OMG its almost the same as the fairy fountain in zelda

  • speaking of which, the tune when you use the magic flute in Super Mario Bros. 3 is the same as part of the song in the opening screen of Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time if you listen to it long enough, the tune will pop up a few times, just so you know :|

  • It was only like 4 notes...

  • so what? it still proves that Nintendo recycles some stuff, i still like them though

  • I always wondered if anyone else caught that, but you know that flute tune was first in the original Legend of Zelda, then was used in SMB 3 ;-)

  • awesome music^^

  • That is Water World in Mario 3

  • isn't that on zelda windwaker in the fairy fountains?

  • its not just in windwaker -.- , its in all of the zelda games, and i guess in mario too.

  • i thought that sounded WAY too familiar lol

  • yes and its on zelda ocarina of time

  • that thing need tuning

  • i dont think you can "tune" theremins

  • actually you can

  • oh. ok. i thought because it is an electric instrument (in a different category than electric violins, guitars, etc.) it didnt need to be tuned.

  • ill pm you a link

  • When you tune it it changes the intensity of the fields usd to play it. You have to set it properly or it will not sound right.

  • Looks like you're having fun getting used to the new E-Pro; that tune sounds as if it would be a really good "exercise".
