But I am learning to turn my fear into defiance and cherish each new day when I wake up to the real me and i am still alive. And I pray for the day all my sisters are safe. I have quite a few Gay and Lesbian friends that I would gladly lay down my life for and to think that someone would think that a life is less precious due to their appearance or lifestyle is ridiculous in this day and age !!
