OK LISTEN UP CAT= stands for category flight condition it can be I II II 1 2 or 3 3 means worst visibility 2 is beter and 1 is alot beter visibility During all CAT III landing pilots use AUTOLAND/ ILS during cat II or cat I pilots are still alowed to land manually this landing in this vid is CAT III shit visibility
Autoland is so cool. When I played FSX, I put the fog on some crazy amount, and I couldn't even see the runway when I was below minimums at 50. I couldn't see the runway when I touched down, I had to estimate with a321 feet reading. I couldn't even see the runway once I landed. The fsx planes don't autoland even though they get you close enough. I might have to buy the pmdg md-11 with autoland.
@BusterBunker I just bought the Captain Sim 757 and i LOVE it! its a little bit frustrating at first until you figure everything out, but once you do (i did it in 1-2 days) it is totally worth it. plus its about half the price of the pmdg planes! When you set auto land, it will even cut power and roll at the apropriate times! its SWEET!
I would be happy with either PMDG or Captain Sim, but my first priority is getting fsx to run on ultra high settings. I have a good computer right now, but it's not up to par with fsx even though it plays most other games on max settings. Thing is, new computer parts are so expensive and I don't have the proper cash right now. I know If I get an Intel I7, I should be future proof for a while. I'm saving up though. I wish they coded the game so it didn't eat cpu resources. It's still a great. ;]
FSX still looks great even if you lower the settings. I can help you in the traffic region. World of AI has sweet traffic and if you lower the traffic settings to barely anything, there will still be quite a few planes around the airports you may want to fly to... the only thing i dislike about them is that they dont have much general aviation traffic, but it is still a really good download. unless you have a really sweet computer, fsx is going to have some fps prbls when at max settings.
What I do, is I put the airplane on ultra high, and the weather on ultra high, and anti aisling on high, I put the other stuff on low or medium low. I get great fps doing that, but once I raise the terrain to a higher setting, it's starts lagging like crazy.
if you lower the airplane settings, theres not to much of a difference. you can still get all the buttons and gauges you need. so ya if you just lower all the ultra high things one or two levels, the 757 should be fine
AND BYE THE WAY THERE ARE NO MINIMUMS IN CAT LANDING

seemed he was taxiing a little fast when existing the runway, I guess the turn was not steep enough.

Minimums at 50 feet approx? That would be so awesome. Sure beats 200.
