If he could sit beside my bed every night and sing to me, I think I would be the happiest girl alive. My dad introduced me to this band a couple years ago, and ever since I have been in love!
@furkann182 I was watching Being Human and heard this song which I hadn't heard even though I had heard Great Lake Swimmers and then I put on an episode of Warehouse 13 and this exact song was at the end. It was weird.
Tony Dekker does an incredible job with this song. Few artists can create this kind of a feel and atmosphere in a song. Must say i listened to this quite a few times on repeat :)
I saw him with his backing band last year and it was just amazing. His voice is perfect live. I always attributed the hauntingness to a clever use of reverb, but no (although there is that too on most of his recordings). He played this song acoustically and the whole band kicked in for the chorus. Sent shivers down my rocky spine. x
Memorizing. I watched him sing this live in Prince George this last Jan. This is the closest video i've found that captures the sound and feel there that night. so beautiful. great video.

I'm from the states but this music & the vibe reminds me how much I'd love to someday live/be a Canadian. A country that has national radio and a national film board(and one of the top film festivals in the world) moves me!
Incredible band with some of the most beautiful video I've ever seen. I'm proud to be canadian when I saw these artists make such creative and sentive realisations. What a voice! Please continue to make us dream!
Hi there! It was some time ago, but i believe it was Personal Effects (remember Kim basinger was in it). I also remember from the credits that this movie was filmed in Canada.
If you like a artist or band & want to help them get air time then e-mail or call your local radio station & make a request or sugest they check them out. It helps if you remind them of the Canadian content laws & most stations appreciate the feedback.
I just watched a bad movie that had a great soundtrack. I googled the music credits anf got this band. I can't believe these people have created four CDs and are still relatively unknown when I was hooked at the first song I heard. Also, I'm Canadian, and I haven't heard any air-play for these musicians. What a pity. This is craft and art. I want to buy everything they have ever produced based upon a few songs. I truly hope they do well in the future.
I seen you guys perform this song last time you stopped in at The Ford Plant in Brantford, Ontario. Right away I was hooked. The song writing abilities accompanied by the musical talent sets this band apart from so many others. Keep it up guys.
