  • watch?v=vyDU5L7MRZY&feature=related

    lol watch this

  • The Nostalgia Critic brought me here.

  • Ya

  • Robot chicken brought me here. That cool song that actually featured him..

  • ONE POINT ONE TWENTY OONNEE!!

  • 1.21 Jiggawatts

  • its jigga.....

  • wtf in the french version it's 2,21 gigowatts??

  • @n0ledge Maybe because it's in french?

  • @Nero51 I checked some forums that day and I found that it was a matter of translation they changed the numbers so it spells better... this is why some years ago I started to listen to movies in the language the movies are created for little stuff like this... some time it's even worse like a joke completely destroyed lol

  • Ludacris Brought Me Here .

  • That's the exact same power output as my dick

  • 1.21 NIGGAWATTS!

  • LOL, I really thought he looked just like Ted Buckland Esq. in Scrubs when touching his bald forehead, then I checked up Christopher Lloyd on wikipedia and guess what... "Ted Buckland" is his nephew!

  • @walp86 HAHAH awesome xD

  • I like the part where he said 1.21 giga watts :D

  • damn man.. show the whole damn clip dude! you forgot the "GREAT SCOTT" part... smh

  • My favorite part when he's saying 1.21 gigowatts.

  • It's GIGA not JIGGA, Doc Brown. We're not getting Jiggy with it here.

  • @johnnyk427 Actually, it was always pronounced Jigga. The computer industry arbitrarily decided to change the pronunciation with gigabytes, etc. But he says it correctly.

  • @hpnosam What?! You just rocked my world. Confirmed here. thefreedictionary/gigawatt

Serves me right for questioning the Doc.

  • in french version, he says 2,21 Gigowatts. translation error !?

  • @anthonyboga 2.21 Gigowatts, that's completely absurd. I would never believe the movie if that was the figure quoted.

  • @johnnyk427 in the version with subtitles, we can see 1,21 Gigowatts, i think the french dubbing is wrong

  • @anthonyboga

Le chiffre a été modifié pour mieux accorder le mouvement de lèvres.

The number has been altered in the french dubbing for a better lip synch.

  • Tu penses que c'est pour ça ou tu le sais ?

  • Biblical line

  • just push 6 over and over till you get a pretty funky remix and your good

  • I love Christopher Lloyd, its a good thing he portrayed the character so well in these films that are and for ever will be timeless, he will never be forgotton...

  • ToY... what the fuck lmao <3?

  • I'll never understand Toy.

  • Jiga watts?

  • ToY

    I

    Know

    you

    Love

    me

    just

    admit

    it

    kthnxbye

  • xToY NiGGeR

  • @DanTVideos racist cunt

  • Toy Soldier.

  • LUDA Is COMIN YALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That mixtape about to drop soon.

  • "What the heck is a gigawatt?!"

  • ITS OVER 1.21 THOUSAAAAND JIGGOWATTS!!!!!

  • Ftw

  • JIGGA WAAT

  • ITS OVER 9000!!

  • WITCH CRAFT! D:

  • fukushima 's each reactor was generating ~4.5 gigawatts

  • @imkansizartikbu bothered?

  • Christopher Lloyd should've gotten an Oscar for this movie

  • Christopher Llloyd should've gotten an Oscar for this movie

  • @dirkcallowayy I love rushmore

  • LHC peak power is at 180MW

so the question is: 1.21 Giga Watts?!?

  • 1.21 Gigawatts?.. Man, thats alot of lightbulbs.

  • Oh, well, you understate computers. Many modern PCs need a 1MW power source so it's just about enough to power source one million computers, or air conditioners, or ovens... It's not inimaginable. The thing is, it's all in a freaking car.

  • @lordkrandel

IF a pc used 1MW power source, it would cost you about 9700$ to run it for an hour.

    Thats a pretty powerful PC.

Maybe you mean 1kW, but 1000 watts are still too much for a modern pc. I consider my pc to be pretty beast in gaming, and its power source is 0.55kW

  • @divez2 And yet that is the total power the transformer can handle, and your computer is using way less. I've tested mine, it only uses 150 W at full power, 20 when idle

  • THIS WAS MY SOLUTION. - RM

  • Wait! WHAT THE HELL'S A GIGAWATT?

  • @asnaes *music* "That's the power of love..."

  • press 6 and 7

  • It's "One Point TWO One Gigawatts" NOT "One Point Twenty-One Jiggawatts".

    Sigh, scientists.

  • @MrDasarp One and twenty one hundredths of a Gigawatt

  • @paseo1997 Yes, I know what he meant. I think it's just silly that the script writer didn't realize that a scientist/engineer/mathematician would never say 1.21 as one point twenty-one. One point twenty-one suggests that it is greater than one point three (i.e. suggests 1.21 > 1.3), which is not true. It is correctly said as one point two one.

  • 6 people think this is a hate message suggesting that they don't know what 1.21 Giga watts is.

  • why is this such a famous line

  • Thats a awesome movie!

  • Press 7 over and over again

    lol

    ?????

    profit

  • @Stewie7999 Pressing 6 is also amusing :D x

  • @Stewie7999 Sounds like a chicken of some sort.

  • "My God do you know what this means? It means that this damn thing doesn't work at all" Probably the most underrated movie of all time.

  • It's over 9000!!!!

  • This scene never gets old. Same goes for the rest of the BTTF movies/scenes.

  • What? WHAT THE HELL IS A GIGAWATT?!!

  • Yo! Ya wanna go jigga watch?

  • @hoppoLOL RACIST THOUGHTS!

  • lol

  • imagine if it had been 10.21 gigawatts. 10.21 GIGAWATTTS!!!!!!!1

  • You should've left the part in where he staggers to the door, and says it again.

  • my favorite part was where he said 1.21 jiggowatts

  • 1.21 giggawatts is serious business

  • 1.21 JIZZAWATS!!!

  • 1.21 Jiggo WHATS!?

  • What the hell is a gigawatt ?

  • jigowatt

  • its over 9000!!!!

  • I liked this video but...

What the hell is a gigawatt?

  • @TheGroovyMule

    Numbers lesson #44815

    Kilo=1000

    Mega=1000000

    Giga=1000000000

    Tera=1000000000000

    Peta=1000000000000000

    ETC

  • giga.....SHRUTING THAT ASS

  • 1,210,000,000 watts equals1.623 Million Horsepower

  • @clemstevenson that makes absolutely no sense.

  • @furlonium1 It makes perfect sense, and you can look up the conversion factor on the internet. Horsepower is just another unit of power, so there has to be a relative value between the watt and the horsepower. One horsepower is somewhere around 750 watts, although determination of the watt is somewhat more scientifically precise that the commercialised horsepower.

  • @clemstevenson I understand; I meant more the fact that the Delorean in the movie isn't using that power to give the engine some sort of huge amount of horsepower, just that it needs that much for the flux capacitor to work.

My system in my Olds runs a total of about 600 watts - woo, extra .8 HP! =D

  • @furlonium1 Ha ha...Yeah, they got the 1.21 gigawatt rating from the figure quoted for an American nuclear power station. I also remember a 1970s pocket calculator that converted 'kilowatts to horsepower'. It is normal to consider horsepower as a measurement of physical power, which, back in the days of the horse and cart, was its original commercial use. That comparison was, after all, the reason why the horsepower unit was invented in the first place.

  • 900,000,000 WATTS?

  • OMG LOL!

  • so lame in the german sync -.-

  • ITS OVER NINE THOUSAAAAAANDD!!!!!!

  • 3:00 4:00

  • But maybe niggawatts?

  • Jigga Who?

  • tesla is the man for that job

  • 1.21 Gigawatts

  • 1.21 GIGAWATTS!?! IT'S OVER 9000 WATTS!

  • @FanFalco yes, well over 9000 watts - 9000 watts is 9kW. 1.21 gigawatts is 1,210,000,000 watts - 1.21 Billion watts. that's a lotta watts.

  • @stefanfain we have that much power... we could have the technology :P

  • @FanFalco THAT'S OVER 900,000,000 WATTS!!!!!!!!!!!

  • What the hell is a gigawatt?!?

  • @ryan7164 I DONT KNOW!!!!!!!!!

  • "What the hell is a gigawatt?!?"

  • Well think of a 60 Watt bulb... now 60 KiloWatts would be 1,000 bulbs... 60 MegaWatts would be 1,000,000 bulbs... the comes Giga... 60 GigaWatts is 1,000,000,000 bulbs...

1.21 GigaWatts can power more than 20Million light bulbs... on the "Hekka Lot" scale, that's considered to be quite high =]

  • @stompy87 Actually, it's 16.666... Million bulbs.

  • @stompy87 Oh, wait, I forgot the .21. You're right. It's roughly 20 million.

  • @stompy87 *Every character in the world thats considered an Engineer jaw drops*

    *... Also everyone else*

  • I liked the part when he said, "1.21 gigawatts."

  • @PlaystFreak lol yeah i liked that part too!!

  • WHAT POINT WHERE WHAT JIGGOWATTS

  • It sounded like he said Jigawats not gigawats.

  • @SirGriefALot yea......

  • @SirGriefALot

    it's spelled gigawatts....pronounced "Jiggawatts"........ignorance is bliss!

  • 1 Gigawatt is considered power of a large nuclear powerplant. 1.21 Gigawatt can power 500'000 households continuously. Jump into future maybe took only 1 second?, so 500'000 households for 1 second or 1 house for 500'000 seconds or 6 days :)

  • no no no best part is when he says 1.21 gigawatts

  • jewats!?

  • What the hells a Gigawatt LMFAO

  • 1.21 GigaWatts also a black cat firework u can buy also i have one =P

  • "1.21 GIGAWATTS!" Its sounds funny if you keep repeating it

  • "What the hell is a gigawatt!?"

  • @Rikrd0x You mean 1.21 Watermellonz

  • what the hell is a gigawatt?

  • who would hate this

  • Remember that sound you were looking?

    Well listen to this!

  • whats a giga watt anyway?

  • @Anacondas101 a Gigabyte is 100 megabytes, so a Giga watt is 100 mega watts......holy SHIT that's powerful!

  • @Raptorboy101

    Fail.

    1gigabyte = 1024megabytes.

  • @Raptorboy101 A gigawatt is 1 billion watts.

  • Perfect to use when someone is speaking of big numbers on a forum.

  • GREAT SCOTT!!!

  • there must be a gravity problem 'cuz this is heavy

  • JIGGA PLEASE

  • @wenispomp1 lol in my head I have rucka rucka saying that

  • I can make that mutch with bicycle

  • Hehe! Only on youtube would people actually try and argue about how much 1.21 gigawatts actually is!

    It's a random video...you absolute cretins and no i don't care.

    ;)

    x

  • "1.21 JIGOWATTS...GREAT SCOTT!"

  • Thats heavy.

  • 1,210,000,000 watts...damn, thats gonna be expensive on the electricity bill.

  • learn to properly convert plz thanks

  • uH? did I made a mistake?

1 Gigawatt is 1 billion watt right?

  • @47burton47

I don't know how you calculate, but 1,210,000,000 watts is right

  • Comment removed

  • (sorry, I said he was right, but he wasn't really)

47burton47, please enlight us, because we're all mistaken, then

    1 KiloW = 1.000 watts

    1 MegaW = 1.000 KW = 1.000.000 watts

    1 GigaW = 1.000 MG = 1.000.000.000 watts

    so

    1,21 GW = 1.210 MW = 1.210.000 KW =

    1.210.000.000 W

...just as peterhopqk and warrior536 said

  • christopher loyd, BRILLIANT actor.

  • the legend

  • geeks

  • lul u r so cool

  • How am I going to generate that kind of power!? It can't be done! Can it?

  • idk splitting an atom?

  • @smb50073

nuclear reaction chamber with a flux compositor triconnection, with a dilithium bicarbanate Ditex core. Childs play really*yawn*

  • a gigawatt is equal to one billion watts

  • IT'S OVER NINE THOUUUSAAAAND!

  • what the hells a gigawat?!

"What the?" WHAT THE HELL IS A GIGAWATT!!"

  • Gigawatts can be pronounced with a 'g' or 'j' sound at the beginning, but it's always spelt with a 'g'.
