  • Tuff came up! But a couple of months later, he was found in a dumpster riddled wit bullets. 2 years later, i moved out the hood, and havent heard from any other dominos.

  • i've been trying to find this forever!!! taco! shrimp!

  • did he dance "punking"?

  • I love how this vid was also used for a cola commercial and Chaka Khan's Feel For You.

  • Yeah!! Poppin Taco, Bogaloo Shrimp and Shabadoo !

  • Chaka khan - I feel for you, the same people in this video.

  • thats a prince song...

  • Please post the original 12' single of this if you have it.

Would loovve to see it and hear it.

Did this come out before G Force Feel The Force, or the other way around ???

  • this is also available on record. Magic Mike Crew - Magic Mike Theme on Rappers Rapp Records. The year of the release was 1983, same year as G-Force - Feel the force. Hope this helps.

  • Thankyou so much for posting this.

I have not seen / hear it since 1984

Infact the only time I ever heard this track was when this exact video was on tv.

I put my cassette deck with built in mic right up to the tv then, and recorded it live off the tv, but never found out what the track was, because I don't think it ever came out on record.

But I did find a track that sound almost like just like it named Feel The Force by G Force.

It's also on youtube. do a search.

  • whatis this from like 1985?

  • only thing they had to do to make it believable was get chris 'the glove' taylor to be in it w/her since he was the deejay in both the original paris vid and chaka's video -- who by the way was the same deejay who produced 'reckless,' ice-t's first big hit and was featured in the movie "breakin" back in 1984.

  • he VIDEO though was originally shot for a fashion show in paris and they used this song cause it was so hot at the time. when chaka khan re-made prince's hit 'i feel for you,' they just cut this video (nobody thought a fashion video from paris would see the light of day in the u.s.) and spliced in chaka khan.

  • no. it came out in 1983. the song is called 'magic mike's theme' and was produced by a west coast guy named rich carson (who passed away in march of 2007). he produced it for a 19-year-old program director named magic mike from radio station kjlh 102.3 fm for mike's popular radio show. mike always supported the records rich carson did and i guess he did it as a 'thank you' of sorts. magic mike died a few months after the song was released in 1983 in a motorcyle accident though.

  • @abovefilms Hell Yeah!! Rich Cason and Duffy Hooks fam, the OG L.A hip hop pioneers, props and RIP! I remember living In S.C L.A on 41st Place when I was 10 years old back in 83-84.There was a poping crew called the "Unique Dominoes" They were the shit!! They're on this video dressed in black with a silver stripe on sleeves. I ended up going to scool(Carver JR high Vernon/McKinnley) with "Tuff"(rip) He was the lil short, young one... damn, I miss him. I wonder wat happend 2 da survivin members?

  • @mixmaster317 didn't know any of the dominos passed away. how did ''tuff'' pass away? if you look up "tyrone brunson, fresh" video, i think he's the one popping in it with lil cocoa.

  • @abovefilms I used to live on the same street(41stPL and McKinnley) as Marcell and Adrian(brothers), they were the older ones in the dominos. During 1986/87 they started crippin and slangin dem thangs. Saddly, Maurice(Tuff) ended slangin around 1989/90. After that, I stopped talkin to him cuz I was still into dancing, Writing, and mixing. I lost contact wit him, but I saw him around 90/91 ballin! He was hangin round older ballin ass foo's, rollin on gold D's, hittin switches, I was like damn!

  • nope. 1983

  • I kept waiting to hear Michael Jackson say "Cause this is Thriller...Thriller Night" The beat sounds just like the breakdown in Thriller.

  • yeah, this video was from about 1984, about 4-5 years before Chaka Khans video, and the song " I feel for you" is an old Prince song from the "For You" album. Plus I know he did'nt like it too much, in fact he's not too happy about anyone covering his music. Chaka Khan has an awesome voice, but Prince got the jams.

  • i swear this is the video to chaka khan...i feel 4 u ???

  • yea it is most of the scenes, just some scenes ders different dance moves

  • great moves by Shabba doo! I also love that song! I have the original 12" single from my deejaying years. Sweet!
