i downloaded cod4 another way but i have it . becouse i had problems i deleted the folder 2 or 3 times and rebuild it again ( i have the skullptura version) and now i want to patch my new cod 4 folder but it says: the patch is already instaled and you don't need to install it again. how i can remove the patches or destroy them or whatever???

Go to the privateservers website and you will find little icons that says connect with hlsw click that icon.

for some people, like me, could not get hlsw to detect cod4. so you go settings and browse and go to the cod4 directory and click on iw3mp.exe, then you connect and play ;) you may have to try alot of servers.

ok i have a prob when i am trying to connect to a server that has punkbuster it says that you are temporarily banned from this server or the admin has banned you . when i try to connect to a server where's no punkbuster it says connection timed out any help?

Just find a newer one on mininova with the most seeds its easy :) and make sure your ports are forwarded if oyu are using a router. If your getting around 30kb/s maximum then either your ports aren't forwarded or your ISP (Internet Service Provider) Throttles P2P networking.

ok, u got version 1.7? but... u cant join normal games u need a cracked server. go to google and search for cracked server or go to epcgaming . com to connect make sure the console is enabled (settings) and type connect *server ip* and it shud connect. If you tell me where ur from il get you servers from that country
