I am no engineer but based on what I've read Building 7 was hit by derbis from the Twin Towers as they collapsed, igniting several fires throughout the building that were not addressed for hours. On top of that, the building had numerous propane tanks on several stories, which fed the fire. This prolonged heating compromised the buildings structure and started the collapse. You're taking in only one factor of the collapse, heat. But the impact zones were structurally weakened by the impact itself. Then you also have to take into consideration that the impact zone was also holding the weight of the upper floors (something like 100-150 million lbs). When structures collapse you often hear "explosive" sounds from certain parts of the structure giving out. Sounding like something and actually being something are two differnt things.

I am no engineer but based on what I've read Building 7 was hit by derbis from the Twin Towers as they collapsed, igniting several fires throughout the building that were not addressed for hours. On top of that, the building had numerous propane tanks on several stories, which fed the fire. This prolonged heating compromised the buildings structure and started the collapse. There may be more to this but this is the most likely explaination.

You know with me being a firefighter and all gives me some credit of what I do with my time. I don't see you rescuing people from burning structures or just heling out people. To say that every firefighter thinks it was an "inside job" is just ignorant. If your home burnt down you'd show more respect towards firemen instead of stating the obvious.
