They put her in rehab, until you been there yourself and see how hard it is once you hooked then you'll understand, but untill then she was unselfish, appreciated everyone and did what she could, she still played and made hits and did well and she just had a relapse and it pushed her over the edge to die, she did well to do what she did and how she overcome all the publicity that hated her, I think she was a credit to the music industry and she was very talented. so read before assume!

I'm 47 years old, love jazz, and am not into pop culture. when i first heard Amy perform on Jool's hootenanny 'teach me tonight', my jaw dropped. I've followed her ever since. No one has moved me present-day like she did. she was the whole package. I'm still devastated, and I know I will never hear another voice like hers in my lifetime. I'm just still so crushed.

@nickelwindow53 There were no signs of drug use when Police found her in her home. She died because she cut cold turkey and stopped all of her substance abuse. No drugs and alchohol for a body so used to it caused her to suffer immense withdrawals and the shock to her system killed her. She died because she decided to follow her doctors advise and stop.
