those cups have holes at the bottom so the air can be pushed out of them (or else they wouldnt be be as easy to slide out). so theyre specially made for dat "cup stacking"... but overall i think its pretty silly how ppl are so enthusiastic abt it.

Normal cups won't work. This stack cups are special!

They have holes on top so that air can pass throught it. Conclusion, they are much easier and much smoother to use.
