Federal Signal made this bar in at least two lengths. One had three rotators on each side with an outer stationary (4 segments), and the other had two rotators with an outer stationary. Obviously the smaller bar was made for smaller cars. Our dept used both, depending on the vehicle size.
We also had a couple vehicles with the spotlight on top. Although it seemed a little goofy at the time, it worked really great and offered a 360 degree spot vs. post-mounted spotlights at about 180 degrees.
It looks just fine to me, it's a little different then the US ones.... and mine has 3 rotators on both side and it only runs a little faster on full amperage.

The unit needs more amperage running to it to speed up the motors and brighten the flashes.
