NP also has some good areas around it and that helps it out some. NP has alot of shootings, more than SW. SW is wide open, big streets. NP is very tight with narrow streets, easy to shoot somebody in NP. SW you have to know how to aim, I think. I have worked in both areas.

I think in NP you are never far from the world. Walk one way and you hit Broad, another you hit Center City,another and you walk into Cheltenham. I never had a problem in NP, had a few in SWP. I also worked in a ER in SWP. That was a war zone. Maybe someday I will work an ER in NP.

Yeah dog you right it's sad! I grew up in NP too on the streets used to hang around Camac and Butler, Tioga, 11th and Pop, North Darien St, right in Hunting Park. It was crazy!!! But got out got my degree and now it's all good! I stop in once in a while and chill with the homies but they are just about all gone. Growing up in Philly you felt no love in the city of brotherly love! But you right you can't knock em for it!
