In a perfect world of peace and love, these games would never exist cause no one would have ever had the idea.
G.I.Joe itself is based on fighting someone who is seen as ''evil'' because he wants to destroy the world. Now one could say ''But they're justified because Cobra is evil'', it's the same violent action taken to silence Cobra and emerge with a ''peace'' that was ''fought for''. So world peace can't involve violence, so this would have to be erased as it would contradict the idea of world piece. There's 80% of the movies/games gone there. These are to violent for world peace.
Now lets think of love, love can lead to: Lust/Jealousy/anger/hate/happiness. Since world peace has no room for any of those but happiness, lets remove everything but happiness.
Now, lets think of individuality. As well all know, individuality can lead to: Racism/hate/fear/alienation/segregation/acceptance. Now, lets remove a humans choice to feel scared of something different, to remove hateful feelings of difference. Oh wait, forcing such a bad thing contradicts world peace, individuality would have to be removed alltogether. Now, if Mary is the same, and Sue is the same, which one do you love? They're the same.
Now finally, what you're left with is artificial happiness, the only way to achieve this utter hell would be to remove most of what humanity has to live on, most people would despair at this, but since we removed despair we can't feel this either. Now all we're left with is an empty world of nothing. Would you really call this worth fighting for? NO! We need balance, a good amount of peace and violence, it is the only way we can be human.

The fact of the matter is that while gun control laws do result in a higher homicide rate, it is more the American mindset of violent individualism that causes it as opposed to a prevelance of weapons. America is a violent nation. This isn't arguable, whether it's justified is, but like it or not America has been involved with almost every major war since it's creation. We're a nation of extremists founded by religious extremists: a high homicide rate should be expected.
Also, the second amendment doesn't really apply very well because you'll find it's much easier to elect a new leader every four years than to get together a bunch of guns and take on the American military (Yup, that'll end well for sure)

The fact of the matter is that while gun control laws do result in a higher homicide rate, it is more the American mindset of violent individualism that causes it as opposed to a prevelance of weapons. America is a violent nation. This isn't arguable, whether it's justified is, but like it or not America has been involved with almost every major war since it's creation. We're a nation of extremists founded by religious extremists: a high homicide rate should be expected.

It's not how many they have saved, so much as how many they have the potential to save. The second amendment and the free ownership of guns by a civilian population is ultimately a last resort, something that should never have to be used, but should be present just in case. Guns work much like the policy of mutual self destruction and help remind military and administrative forces that civilians aren't just a pack of bleating sheep for all it takes for them to be pushed to violence.
