  • Well i go to NHS and to diss us like that isnt called for. They did great like some of the other teams did.

  • They still didnt win. YOur just mad because they got beat.

  • im a summerville fan. and northwestern did get beat, but only by 1 team. they beat 10 other teams that happened to be included in the best 12 in the state. number 2 is nothing to be ashamed of, and is actually quite a feat... again, im a summerville fan... but northwestern was only behind by 2 points. they did not suck

  • umm.. Emilyisamazing2202, this team is NOT a joke. if they were then why did they get runner up at state..please tell me that :) kayy thanks :)

  • This team is a joke. They didnt even place. HA HA. Summerville was amazing.... not this awful team.

  • Sucky. Very sloppy. Summerville is better, and always has been. Thats why THEY WON, Not This team?.

  • Was this honestly necessary?

  • Deborah, thats a joke.

    Lexington was off.

    and

Dutch Fork Got beat by dorman who dropped a stunt, that evidently says something.

    Northwestern, is good.

Somethings could be better, but they won get over it?

    Thanks :)

  • What it says is that DF seems to get judged a lot stricter than many squads. They lost points on jumps and tumbling. Go to their performance and tell me if that makes any sense. I looked at the judges scale on SCHSL, and I still don't understand it. I'm not saying that Northwestern didn't deserve what they got, but the points DF lost just didn't add up. DF's tumbling was better this year than any previous year at STATE. How did they get low scores in that area? Beats me. Good job to all!

  • @fger7244 wow really? DF had the best tumbling of all the 4a squads last year imo.

  • @brittan2007 Sounds like you didn't read my post very closely. What I said was that their tumbling and jumps were better than they have been in previous years. In other words, brittan2007, if they lost points in ANY area, it shouldn't have been in jumps and tumbling. Does that clear it up for you? By the way, if you haven't seen them this year, you're in for a treat. They look even better!

  • well, summerville won haha.

    Northwestern got runner up.

    silly me

  • ...and congratulations to both teams, but no one can take away the talent and skill demonstrated by DF or Lex. It's like the movie "Any Given Sunday." For the cheerleading world, it would be "Any Given Saturday." Throughout this season, no one consistently beat anyone else. On any given Saturday, any one of these phenomenal four teams may have landed on top. Each of these teams can say they beat the other at some point during this season. Congrats to NW and Sum on that given Saturday!

  • I have seen Dutch Fork's routine many times and they're good, but do NOT have the creativity and difficulty that were needed to win. Sorry...NHS was much better. Good job girls :)

  • well i have to agree that NHS was better, but i cant agree with the other half of your statement. dutch fork had the creativity and difficulty. they just couldnt execute and perform. northwestern also had the difficult but were able to sell a solid routine. good job to NHS

  • wow that was awesome!! :)

  • umm sorry to tell you wsuppdeborahx but state is already passed and northwestern got second. DEAL WITH IT

  • 121uscgirl... i think you should go to the SCHSL website and look at the score sheet used by the judges. don't bash teams until you fully understand the score sheet and how each section is scored. state is over and the results will not change. northwestern was amazing, and only 2 points behing summerville. this shows the judges thought they were great as well. but there is no need to be bashing summerville.

  • you tryna tell ppl not to bash summerville but all you do it bash DF;;

dutch fork and lexington were both clean..

yet didnt get what they deserved....

you should listen to the commentators and compare to that to the scores and they dont fit...not to mention on of the judges teaches at a school in Columbia<--that isnt supposed to happen eitha...

  • they were clean... just maybe could have been a little better in that category. i think both teams are phenomonal, but unfortunately with so many great teams, some great teams still end up behind 2nd place. as far as the judges go, i agree that it shouldnt happen, but i dont really know anything about that. and thought the commentators knew what they were talking about, they werent the ones judging it, and didnt have a score sheet in front of them. im not "tryna" bash them... theyre both awesome

  • dutch fork and lexington werent clean. good choreography wont win a state title. it deifnitely helps, but it takes that, good skills, a solid performance, and cleanliness to win. northwestern was better in more of these aspects than lexington and dutch fork

  • I was there too and Northwestern was AMAZING! What competition were you watching? They deserved what they EARNED or even better!

    PS--You can't start a sentence with "And"

  • You have got to be kidding me. How the HELL did they get second? Lexington and Dutch Fork were better. And have good choreography.
