That's a good thing to do, explain to a child, or anyone who's having a cast removed, what they're doing. That way, they're not wondering "what is he doing?!"
I had one of those at the age of like one, both legs of cast from my waist down to my ankles becoz i have the worst hip the Royal childrens hospital have every seen, have had major opperations in my life time and still need plently more
