You're actually correct. I called up a few engineers that worked on the A9, and they confirmed that it was designed for drivers to operate cameras while driving. Actually, it was originally intended that the driver have a sandwich in one hand and a camera or phone in the other, and steer only with his teeth. Yet again I am put in my place by a comment-posting savant.

@ambientflier Not sure what you mean. If car were to hit top speed in 5th, if you shift to 6th, engine rpm will drop below redline and then one can go faster, meaning you can only hit top speed in the highest gear. It's called overdrive because the gear ratio is < 1.

We've found a website of a chiptuner and there was a datasheet which said that it would run 251 if you take out the limiter...

But we have never tried it, so I don't know.
