The problem with most ahmadis is that they often get "pak-centric". A discussion on religion should be primarily based within a discussion on scripture ie hadith and quran, not rhetoric and emotion. Find ulema who can argue based on scripture...sheikh Hamza Yusuf for example, but even better...read the quran, sahih hadith and use your logic and reasoning! The finger pointing method does not get you closer to the truth and, in the end, who are you fooling then?

Reading commentaries of righteous ppl who do know Arabic do help. The translation of most ahadith is written by non-ahmady scholars and not able to speak arabic has nothing to do with it, if we are reading translations that everybody else reads it makes no difference. Most missionaries btw in ahmadiyyat do speak Arabic and a person with an urdu background doesnt necessarily have to speak arabic to teach but by reading it and understanding the text from previous generations of Arabic scholars is enough

To make an argument about scripture, you need to use the scripture or other PRIMARY sources- not xyz said this about this. That is just research 101. Islam, quran and hadith has a science to it.
