hi jamie, its your old buddy doug, (and britt). i havent talked to you in a bit so i just wanted to say hello. i think me and britt are about to get our 6th chin. he is the brother of my buddy i have now. plus, i just came into possesion of a sugar glider. her name is mica (pronounced me-ka) and i just have to say, i love her more than i though possible. i dont put her with the chins or anything but she makes a great pet. the good thing, britt and I have plenty of love to go around.

Hey jamie i think my chinchilla has maloclusion because he is wet from the mouth to chest and he doesn't want to eat hay. He eats food and drinks, but i need help.

The vets in my city (focsani, romania), much of them don't know what a chinchilla is, so can i treat my chin myself?

You need to have teeth ground and clipped

it sounds like Malo from here but I am not a doctor

why not ask on Luckys Wonder of Chinchillas ,,,maybe someone can find you a proper doctor

The situation isnt that serious because the teeth are a little bit longer, not very long (i saw him from the first day).

I talked to the vet and he said i need to give him gnawing stones.

I gave the little chin one stone, he gnawed on it, and in the next day, HE STOPPED DROOLING and he became happy again.

I'm glad i don't need to cut his teeth off.

Hey Furdie, I think you're great. I voted for you already before my chimney started collapsing and gave me no choice but to get busy and dismantle it. Tiki unfortunately died in December..he had an accident and missed his step...

It was a VERY SAD day

Furdie will carry all he learned from Tiki

Aww! Tiki died? im so sorry thats so sad. I loved tiki he was like a brother to all the others and he was amazingly talented with his "dancing chinchilla" video. hey jamie I was wondering. I just got this chew thingy for Cashmere by vita-craft. I personally like the vita-craft brand. It is made for chinchilla only but I know it could still be bad. It's called calcium cracker stick she seems to like it so far but I was just wondering if you ever used them or heard somthing bad about them.
