I sold my first ever pony (first horse ever!) a few months ago, and sometimes I regret it. He went to a talented 6 year old though, who loves taking him out on his cart.

Sonny is the sweetest boy,you taught him everything he knows and it's clear how much you love him. He's a lovely talented pony and I bet the kid who has him now is so so thrilled with him. You made the right choice I'm sure the little lad who has Sonny now is over the moon to have such a special pony who can do all those amazing tricks. i know that if i had to sell hilary i would sell her to a little girl/boy so they can have the same experience i had. so they get to ride an amazing horse that will always be there for them :)
nikki, this is gonna sound stalkerish, but i started watching your videos last year, you and sonny were the reason i came to youtube, first time i watched your tricks video, i was speechless someone of your age turned a pony's life around.Thats not easy and you did it,What you achieved on him was the one of the most incredible things ive ever seen, hun,you both inspired me to become fearless and to believe.Dont worry that he might forget you,you changed his life for the better,he wont forget :')

awh thats really touching i read your whole desc, what a hard decision, but i think you made the right one :) he has a really nice easy life doing pc and you can continue training horses, you were both a fantastic pair and even though i didnt always manage to comment on your vids i did watch them. i will miss seeing recent videos of the two of you but i wish you luck with your new one. i love the older pictures they're adorable, but well done,

I know you must feel torn right now, but believe me, you've done the right thing. Sonny obviously loves human contact but the things you'll want are the things he cant do anymore. Now that you have found him someone else, he can carry on having an amazing life. Although you have gone your seperate ways just remember that Sonny would still be that shy pony he once was if you hadnt given him all that patience and love, you'll always be his guardian angel and im sure he'll be always be yours : ) x
sometimes you find a horse & rider that are absolutely perfect together, thats what you & Sonny were, its a shame you've had to move on, but you've made the right choice :]

You inspired me to carry on with a youngster i had who was terrible through being badly broken and not much humna contact i watched a video of you and Sonny and read about how you have brung him on... so i tried even harder and ewe got there in the end, i guess all thanks to you!! i taught him to bow and do some other tricks so thankyou so much, i had to let him go so i can imagine how hard this was for you.x
it was a good experience :) i think u made the right choice because even tho youll miss each other Sonny will have a happy home with a pony club boy (he gets to teach this kid some stuff, he'll enjoy it) and u get the experience and a whole new experience u can never replace him but its time for a new kind of bond with some1 else :) i wish you best of luck
