  • Hope you saved the feet to cook. And its nice to see home grown chickens which unlike store bought one arent genetically altered but are allowed to be smaller in size and much better tasting. You can also branch the comb, peel and saute and eat. We like them in homemade pasta with mushrooms.

  • sorry im just saying that video was really bad beacuse it kept moving around a bit too much rate what you what and say im spam i dont give a s***!

  • finally someone that wears gloves while cleaning chickens!!!!!

  • why do you need gloves just wash your hands dont be a pussy!!!

  • because there is a disease called salmonella you don't want to spread around and yes wash your hands even after you use gloves!!! It's not at all about being a pussy! It's called preventing Death!!!

  • so you wear gloves every time you handle raw chicken?doubtful, if your careful not to hit the bile bag or intestine you wont have any problem!

  • u suck at gutting chicken its so easy

  • i love it when the trapped air makes the chicken sound like its still alive making a chicken sound when your hands up its backside.

    lol

  • Your dog seems pretty keen on it all! He keeps going under the table. Dogs like the organs - they aren't picky like us, they're used to being wolves in the wild laying their teeth into a big fresh carcass.

  • so it's just a matter of pulling it all out? no cutting needed? hmm well off I go to kill that son of a roster that killed my favorite roster. I have six rosters so I need to take some out for dinner so, yeah.

  • You do need to cut off the anal gland, and around the vent, when the intestines come out.

  • things like the lungs are attached to the ribs so you do need to cut some stuff out. As a rule though, cut it as little as possible because then you run less of a risk of leaving stuff in there

  • Theres barely any meat on those birds. What do they eat??

  • Those birds were about 2 years old, and they were EE's..so not very big. They were eating just normal layer pellets..but if we are raising them for meat, they eat a food with a much higher protien percentage, around 26-28%.

  • chicken rape

  • I just wanted to say that I appreciate your posting these videos. We started keeping chickens a couple years ago for eggs, but have been wanting to begin raising them for meat as well. I am a book reader, but some things you just have to see with your own eyes. Thanks!

  • This looks fun, I've always wanted to try it.

  • hahaha why r u wearing gloves????

i dont wear gloves when i butcher mine.

  • y dont you throw the liver away?

  • Some people like to eat them.

Or we fry them up and feed them to the dogs.
