Yes, Wedge Antilles was from the original trilogy, he was actually the only pilot other than Luke that survived both attacks on the Death Star and Hoth, he survived all three movies. The actor that played Wedge was also Ewan McGregor's uncle, if I remember right. I love Star Wars, I'm a major Star Wars nerd, so I love it when Dean references SW. :D
