Entertaining match. Snake could have done so much better. He obviously doesn't know the snake slide, and he could have used a grenade or nikita (b or side-b) to kill pit with ease every time pit used his up-b. No clue why he is helpless after that move, but yeah, one explosive and pit would have been gone so much faster every life. Gliding is the safest recovery for pit

Pikachu, Ike, Pit, and MetaKnight are the most spammiest characters. Most noobs that play them just spam attacks, but if you are pro enough, you won't fall for their attacks. I.E. Don't go above of pikachu and hit him when the lightning is coming down. Hit Ike as he is coming down from his aether. And just don't be stupid enough to keep getting trapped in metaknight's tornado.

yes there are. I have a friend who is a tournament level player. Another friend chose ike and literally spammed all of his moves without a care.

The second time he chose pikachu, and once he had the tournament level player's character (mario) in the air, it was game over in seconds (down B, air time initiated by an up smash).

It seems like all the new characters have sick recoveries, Snake's is huge, meta knight has a billion, Dedede is a heavyweight with a huge recovery and pit is obviously ludicrous. Have the recoveries of the older caharcters been improved any?

i dont think that anyone's recovery is cheap...the distance between the fray and the stage has become tighter and the fray itself has become tighter as well. Yea, because of this, it is really easy now to get back on the stage, even with the characters who had crappy recovery moves, it also makes it easier to KO someone though...in my opinion brawl has more balance...

This is because snake has mines that can KO someone if they have 90% damage.. also snake is strong, and has a pretty good recover move. To all the players that say Pit is cheap.. take a moment to really pay close attention to details, Pit has arrows but they do around 4.7% dmg on average... not too high. And he only has two good finishing moves, his bair and forward smash. The Bair has to be timed well..

by and by, he's also heavier than marth and fox, and the fact that he has four jumps means that you don't need to use your up B very often.

and ganons up tilt sucks the person closer and explodes on a roundhouse, so yeah ive heard ppl playing brawl hitting 2 or so of these per match, its not uncommon without wavedashing u cant escape certain attacks

oh please you can definitely dodge those attacks without wavedashing...especially Ganon's tilt up a move. That vacuum effect makes not a bit of difference. And honestly the times that those attacks will hit you and you cant do anything about it is slim to none in a 1v1 match. Anyways they also are supposed to have ridiculously strong attacks because they are so slow. IF you let them hit you, you should be punished. But thats beside the initial point

dude i have the game too..whoopdedoo...ganon's tilt up a is easy to get out of, vacuum or not .just jump backwards...big deal.....and dedede's smash may have huge range but it will only kill you at 20 percent across a stage if it is charged...jsut dont walk into it when he charges it...problem solved. or you could run up to him and tap a and you can usually hit him before he swings because he is so slow. Again problem solved.
