i have a retail OS X 10.6.3 disc and an AMD config. how can i patch my OSX disc? i have it on a USB external also as a bootable drive

I was able to successfully install Snow Leopard on my Gateway NV53 but i cant boot from the Hard drive after i installed Myhack, it shows me the GUI to select a boot partition but when i select the mac os x part it just reboots and i cant see if there is a panic since i wirte -v it restarts so fast that i cant see anything, any ideas? or is there a way to copy the files are in the EmpireEFI disc to another image and then install mac with those bootable files from the mac partition?

@nene888 Si no te diste cuenta, el video esta editado. Cambia el DVD cuando ya termino la instalacion del OSX y luego vuelve a poner el DVD EMPIRE EFI para instalar los parches... Yo hago lo mismo. No es un Fake como dices.

pues yo lo hice y NO puedo cargar el snow leo si no inserto el CD de EFI. A pesar de haber instalado primero el chameleon, y luego el myhack. Si no meto el CD obtengo kernel panic. Y eso es una mierda. Por lo menos windows sigue booteando normal. Ideas?

me pasa lo mismo, ya le pregunte a este compa a ver si me responde te aviso si lo hago funcionar, voy a probar copiando algunos kexts y el archivo boot de Empire EFI al disco duro donde instale Snow Leopard... saludos!

Since it wont let me install on my 3rd partition of my hard drive . I dont wanna reformat my HDD since i have windows 7 and leopard running on two other partitions . Leopard was a b%$# to install i would hate to lose it.

Can someone give me some insight on how to install this onto my dell laptop?

I have the EFI program and a dmg file of snow leopard (not sure on what build).

My laptop does not have a dual-dvd burner or reader so I can't do that, but I do have a flash drive that is bigger then 8 gb.

Generally it works on Intel i7 , Intel Core 2 Duo , Core 2 Quad , Atom , Core 2 Solo , Core Solo , Core Duo , Intel Xeon and its not supported on Intel Pentium 4/D , Intel i5 series and AMD at all. I'll be working on a special version for unsupported CPUs as generally it needs a patched kernel and a lot of patched stuff. For now this is going to be a vanilla . You'll have to use Intel Chipset (Intel ICH7 and above). If you are not sure what chipset you are using

ok I just want to list this out to make sure this is correct

1. put in EFI disk wait for insert osx disk.

2. Create partition (my case i would make it from w7, then format erase)

3.install

4. Reboot with EFI in there, then insert osx again. Go through setup.

5. Then you ran a program inside that to do what> install extra drivers? that lost me a little.
