you don't actually get the holidays I think but if you want christmas trees, clothing, fire place etc, i suggest the holiday stuff pack, aka celebration stuff pack.

um i have the holiday stuff pack but before i had the sims 2 seasons and at the end of fall i made a turkey and did a house party insted of a thanksgiving but know i do thanksgiving

Yes. JUST LIKE ANY OTHER expansion pack. It won't work without sims 2 because the coding of the EP is based on the sims 2. :|

you only need the sims 2 for sims 2 seasons to work. just like any other sims 2 EXPANSION pack. that is why they are called expansion packs.

I'm getting seasons. I have university and open 4 buisness. I like university and buisness is gd cause u can av a little cafe and stuff. I think with all the expansion packs you get out what you put in. If I just have a plain old boring sim in university it would b pretty boring. However, if you create a many sided character with an interesting background who throws parties now and then, goes shopping and stuff its great. x

it is up to you, but if you don't have any other expansion pack i would recogmend nightlife.

Yes, Seasons is DEFINITELY a Good EP, one of the Best, Next to Nightlife, and better than BV, but looks good with BV though. But Yes It's One Of the Best EPs to Have. I recommend getting it, but make sure your graphics card is updated.

Some sims games already have season twists to them, like ps2 has rain (every day at the same time) and in sims 1 santa can come and deliver presents
