The truth is that the only reason these bodybuilders put on massive amounts of muscle is simply because their catabolic breakdown stopped or slowed down greatly and their testosterone skyrocketed. You combine that with a decent diet and you'll look like him in a few years if you keep it up. They're many people that work their ass off at the gym, of which many would look just like him

  • @Bodybuilder1503 I'm nt sure where you got your "facts" from, but you can't have a "decent diet" and look the way these guys do. They have incredible genetics. Sure steroids play some role, but without spot on diet, training, and other adequate supplementation, they'd be just another gym rat. And if it was that easy to look like him and make money doing it, why haven't more people done it?

  • @EnergyLiesWithIn it's not that his back is that big, he's using what's called a "Saftey Bar", it has 2 support bars with pads that rest on his chest. It's a good bar for both better balance and for people that have shoulder problems since the arms can be infront of the body

  • @ActionCutter Yes and no. Swinging is cheating which helps you kick up the pounds. Strict form is good but once in awhile (about once a week) its good to kick up the pounds to freak your body and make it change. Arnold was actually a huge fan of doing cheat bicep curls. It's just a way of telling your body to grow.

  • Anybody following his form of exercise will definately hurt themselves in the long run. Slow control contraction in full range of motion is better.

  • @Naturalhit Slow contraction in full motion is good yes, but not always. If you keep doing that, your going to plateau indefinitely and stay there. Unfortunately, whether you like it or not, if you want to get big, you must lift heavy and sometimes to push yourself up a weight, you have to cheat a little and just pump it out. Many bodybuilders injure themselves (almost all). It's the chance you take trying to get big. There's not 1 big bodybuilder who 100% sticks to slow-controlled movements.

  • @AlvaroDevante I agree with you.You can pretty much get stale or get stuck in a plateau with any type of exercises.I like the Lee Haney where you do cycles throughout the year:Mass(lifting heavy weights like Warren there)Cut (lifting high reps in order to chisele the body)Moderate (lifting moderate weights to shape the muscles).True, no BB stick to slow-controlled movement, but if longevity if your after that's the safest way.When your young you think about that, but when you old like me you do.

  • @Naturalhit Very very true. Cycling between them is always the best way to go there's no way you should lift heavy uncontrollably all the time. In fact, most people would say to only do it one day a week (using a six day split). I would say though that if longevity is your goal, you won't be getting as big as these guys (not saying that it's wrong, but I personally think getting big and ripped is different from being fit and healthy).

  • guys, i havent seen exercises to be done as incorrect as in this video. these men are probably on steroids. and at 0:41 hes doing it so wrong. when i do that on my bicep, i do it without swinging, like who swings the weight like that wtf. no im not jealous, these men still put a lot of effort into it. anyway, no judgement.

Now if you were Phil Heath, then it's an entirely different story. In regards to roids, we all know they are on them, but that alone does not help you win competitions; these guys put immense dedication into what they do. I'm bigger than some guys who are on the juice, and I'm natural. Also thanks for the personal compliment.

  • @tovenissen Its because of that squat pad hes using I saw in his other videos, I want it, if you look carefully you can see the thing in front of his chest connecting to his traps thats part of the pad thing. Its neat and useful. You got your hands to help you squeeze out a rep or two or even more and control your movement.

  • With all due respect to the man (whos a goddamn animal at the peak of its meaning), whats up with his R.O.M? The only exercise i`ve seen him do with a somewhat descent form was the squat. Apart from that he`s barely even doing half of the range of motion on most exercises. Anyways i guess thats what works for him. I like his gym mentality though. But i have to give it to yates for intensity inspiration :P
